I have lost 3 breakfast vouchers 2 vkl vouchers. I'm so bummed and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. These were purchased through hotwire, but my understanding is they can't do anything about it. Thank god I didn't lose my park hoppers too! I think they might have gotten thrown out by mistake.

I am sorry I cannot help you, I never used vouchers. But I am sorry this happened to you. I hope you do find them.

Did you call Hotwire? I would start there. I don't know if they can do anything but I guess that is your only hope. I would go straight to a manager.

The vouchers have a serial number on them. Did you happen to write that down? I am not sure if that would help, but ...

I don't think that Disney or Hotwire can do anything for you, even if you do have the serial numbers. I really hope that you find them. It's a lot of money to lose.

:wave2: I can only offer moral support. I am the notorious thrower away of important items :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I got the most wonderful digital camera for Christmas from my DH and while at school with my kids a couple of weeks ago, it got placed in a paper sack that ended up being used as garbage. Fast forward a few days when realization set in, and, AHHHHHH!!!! :guilty: :sad1: :sad1: I couldn't believe it!!! Then if that wasn't bad enough, my cell phone turned up missing last week (this time the culprit was my two year old :bounce: ) I knew I hadn't lost it, so while I was out one day my sweet, but now frustrated  DH dug through the trash.......several days worth :faint: and found my phone (which stunk to the high heavens!!!)
Can you believe he trust me to stay home and raise our children!?! :rotfl2: Still, I have worked this out through my own strange psychology :p It's just money. At the end of the day you gotta just let it go, right? I hope my retardness makes you feel somewhat better

Have a blessed day! :goodvibes

You wouldn't have put them in a safe of something for safekeeping? I know how you feel...I am hoping you find them.

Thank you all for your support, unfortunately they never made it to my safe, and I never wrote down the serial #'s. Speaking of that I better write down the serial numbers to my park hoppers. What stinks is that I have been trying to save any where I can and now it will cost me alot more. A few of the passes are for my mom & dad who are joing me and my boys..I haven't told them what i did yet :(

Someone told me to try calling my creditcard company, maybe they can do something. Has anyone tried that before?.

I guess tomorrow I will start making calls probably just for nothing, but at least I will have tried everything.

My best recommendation is to BUY A PASSPORTER book. I know it won't help the OP, but maybe it will help others. As soon as I would get something important (like vouchers, or park hoppers, etc.) I would stick it in one of the passpockets. I also printed off confirmation pages, etc. That way all important stuff was together and I never had to worry. Just don't lose the Passporter!

Unfortunately, something similar happened to us. We lost a $500 Home Depot Gift card last September. Ouch, it still hurts to think about it. Our then-2yo DS was in a "cleaning stage" and we think he might have cleaned up the kitchen counter by throwing it away, but who knows?!

We called the credit card company but they couldn't do anything because gift cards are quasi-cash, and are not covered. I'm pretty sure the meal vouchers fall under the same category, sorry.

I know what that feels like. My Passporter was stolen about a week before a Disney trip last year. It has all my vouchers in it, passes, PS numbes my whole trip. I felt sick but I wasn't going to let it ruin my trip.

I ran to the bookstore and bought another but it was naked and it never felt right. I got to Disney and felt like I was missing an arm. I went to the grocery store and got PB&J and other things to replace the meals we were not going to be able to have. I was on a super tight budget and decided that even if we didn't eat, we were still going to Disney and hey, I could afford to lose a few pounds! :teeth:

It was found guess the person who took it didn't realize what they had! The person that found it even sent it to me overnight at my hotel. I was halfway through my vacation but thrilled to have it back.

Another time I ordered vouchers and they never arrived. It took Connections 2 weeks but they refunded my money. They traced the package and found that it wasn't delivered and they considered it lost.

Whether it's a passporter or somewhere else, putting all your vacation stuff together in one place is good advice. I have a little black velcro "travel documents" thing that AAA gave us when we booked a cruise with them.

I store Disney tickets, zoo membership, passports, birth certificates, confirmation numbers, and sometimes cash in that bag. When it's time to go somewhere, I just remove what I don't need for that particular trip.

Since they were leftover vouchers, maybe you left them in your luggage. Other places to look: your bedside table drawers, the book you were reading when you had your last trip, your travel makeup bag or overnight kit, other purses you carry or the fannypack/backpack you use in the parks. Keep looking, they may still show up!
