Please HELP! I need ideas for buying or making a BARBOSSA pirate costume for a child

Our boys want to dress as Captain Jack and Barbossa. Captain Jack is easy, but Barbossa has been a challenge. We can't figure out where to buy or how to make the coat and hat. Any suggestions? :confused3
