Please help figuring out best deal at RPH this month

I've already changed this reservation a couple of times. Help!

We are staying Jan. 12-15, three nights at RPH. I now have a standard room booked at the $197 Stay More rate. We have Loews Blue status from way back I guess, so I assume I can request an upgrade to Water View at check-in.

It occurred to me that if I upgrade my three day pass to a Preferred Annual Pass ($75) I might get a better discount. If available, anyone know what the current discount would be?

If I were to book a Water View room, would I be eligible for an upgrade to Club Level with Blue?

And if I use an AP discount, would I still be eligible for an upgrade?

Can you get the upgrade when you book? It seems like some people on here are doing that.

Loews changed their reward system a couple of years back, so doubt you would be entitled to anything, although you could ask at checkin.
Their is no upgrades to club level, people who book and get their upgrade when booking are Platinum members.
here is their new terms for their membership and rewards.

Thanks for the answer. I did call and get the ap discount. Just hope I can checkin and then show my new ap later in the day.
