Please help fellow DVC with dumb question?

If my use year is in August and I have 12 points for 2008. Can I borrow points from my 2009 points to go in September of 2008.

Your Aug 2008 points are good from Aug 1, 2008 until July 31, 2009. You can borrow from the Aug 2009 points for a trip during your Aug 2008 UY. A Sept 2008 trip would fall in your Aug 2008 UY.
