PLease help-entertainment card & RPR

Have just e-mailed entertainment.com to find out if they will ship the book to the hotel because I am contemplating changing my plans at short notice, and there isn't enough time for it to get to me in England! Can anyone tell me where I book to obtain the entertainment rate and can I make the booking if I don't actually have the card? If the card is at the hotel on my arrival is that sufficient? Is my understanding correct that I can get the room at half the seasonal rate? Thanks for any help you can give, I really hope this all works out I'm so excited at the prospect of staying at RPR!!!!!

Not really replying to myself here just realised I need to ask another question, also helps to bump up my post!! Are all these discounts subject to a 3 night stay? I was only planning on being there 2!!!

The discounts may (and I stress may) be available for the days you are planning to stay, or they may not. The only way to know for sure is to phone and ask. If you are willing to be flexible on your arrival and departure days you may have more success. Call 1-800-BE-A-STAR for reservations and ask them if your nights are available at the entertainment rates. If not, and you are flexible, ask if anything in and around those dates is available at the discount.

You do not need the card in your possession to make the reservation but you will likely need it at check-in. Some people have mentioned that they were never asked to produce it, others were asked for it right away. If you can order a book and have it shipped to the hotel, I would imagine that would be fine. Might be an idea to ask them when you're on the phone. The last thing you need is discovering your book hasn't arrived at the hotel before you!

I spoke to reservations and the entertainment rate isn't available so end of the line there then!!!

Yes Tinkerbarb, I asked about fan club even tho' I don't have the card!! The reservations lady said $139 and $159 for water view. However I got $139 with Travelocity and they only wanted $149 for water view. I hope I did the right thing? I thought I would take my chances on the cheaper rate!!!! Anyway I'm just thrilled to be going!!!
