i have been looking on trip advisor recently at the whydham orlando resort international drive and they haven't been too great. has anyone stayed there recently and was it ok?
We stayed there in April of 2003, The resort was lovely, it is huge though and we stayed in block 3 I think,we stayed on the top floor! there are only 2 floors but I wish we'd have moved to the ground floor, make sure you ask for an area close to the pool, also the POOL it was really cold .
We stayed there in april 2005
Great resort, starbucks on site nice heated pools, spa really hot.
The outside bar was very busy in the evenings due to conferences but ok for a drink. Great lunch food from this bar all day.
You could sit round the pool and order food and drink from the waitresses as they come round.
We would stay there again

Hi,
We stayed there on our 1st visit in 2002 and thought it was really nice. We had a family room with 2 queen beds and a seperate area for the kids in bunk beds. The grounds were really big and the pools were really nice with plenty toys available for the children to play with. We loved the location really central to I-drive but in the grounds it seemed a million miles from the busy road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We have stayed there a couple of times (2003 & 2004) and it was fine. My only criticism would perhaps be that you pay a premium for the 'fancy' setting (I know it's on I Drive but once in the grounds you wouldn't really know) I have read reports on Trip Advisor before about places we have stayed and barely recognised them by the descriptions people have given Some people seem to be hyper critical. I've read report where people have slammed hotels for having a 'small sink' and low beds . You have to take some of the comments with a large pinch of salt
