Please help design a t-shirt for 4 generations

I'm new to this so please bear with me. We are in the beginning stages of planning a 4 generation trip to WDW. There will be 14 people going, ages 6 months to 92 years. Most of the family has never been so I thought it would be fun to make up a custom t-shirt commemorating this special event (which will include my grandmother's 92nd birthday). So far I had the idea to do an outline of Mickey, but instead of a line, have all the participants names' make up the outline. In the middle, I thought we could make up a title for the trip (to include "Four Generations"; "Stevens Family"; "Walt Disney World Resort"; "2011"). I know this all sounds confusing, but I'll try to post a picture of my rough draft to give an idea (if I can figure out how to add pictures). If I can get a good design I have someone that will screen print it on t-shirts for us. I'm awed by the vast talent on this board. I'm OK with the ideas, but not so much with the execution. I'd love to see what some of you can come up with. If anyone is interested in tackling this project, I can give you the names of the family members to make up the outline of Mickey's head. I know someone will be able to help you out. When we celebrated my dad's 85 birthday, Amy designed shirts for us each to wear to tell the guests who who belonged to, we colored coded them and they were a BIG hit...the kids all of them, didn't seem to mind wearing them.. so, I am sure there is a special design out there for you...Amy doesn't do designs with a Disney theme, but there are lots of other awesome talented designers on here...good luck and have a wonderful magical trip

I don't have my DISign laptop with me at the moment but I had an idea that perhaps another DISner could run with ...

You could use the AK tree logo and have oval frames spread across the tree where you could place pictures of everyone inside (aka a family tree) or even wooden tags ornaments with everyones names on the tree (think tom sawyer'ish) and arching above have it say

Stevens Family
4 Generations Strong

and along the bottom

Walt Disney World
2011

if no one gets to this I will try and mock it up once I get my laptop back from the shop

Those are both amazing ideas! The color-coded shirt idea is a great idea for our next family reunion as we have a very big extended family. The family tree idea is particularly interesting to me as my husband and I have just recently started researching our ancestry. It would be great for our trip and not over-the-top Disney for those in our group that have yet to be converted. I can't wait to tell my husband about it. He'll be very happy to see it came from a fellow Yankee fan! Thanks!

I can do a DISign with each of the names on it if you list them.....

It is a picture of the castle with a balloon for each family member! (14 is actually the max!)

Here are samples of 2 family DISigns. I can do a max of 14 names and can put additional text in the castle silhouette DISign if requested....with 14 balloons I can only have the one line of text on the bottom or the names become too small!

Here's my idea...the shape of Mickey's head, but instead of an actual outline, use the names of family members. In the center something about "Stevens Family" with the year (2011). I have the grandkids around the ears, grandfather (Papa) on top, great-grandmother (GG) on bottom and kids/spouses rounding out the head. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone feel like tackling this project? I don't have the software (or the knowhow) to do the names curving around the Mickey head. We also have not nailed down the specific travel dates yet, so we would need one with 2010 and one with 2011. Thanks!

That is awesome! DH and I are so impressed. Just a couple requests, please...

please change spelling of Megan (no extra 'a');

could we please make "Stevens Family", "Walt Disney World", "2011" & "Celebrating Four Generations" a bit bigger (maybe move it up a little higher if necessary) so it's a bit easier to read - maybe even play around with the colors? Not certain what color shirts we would get, maybe red. Any suggestions?

I love having each individual name in black so that at first glance it simply looks like a Mickey head. If Stevens Family and WDW get moved up, you could have "Jim" & "Letty" below WDW, all in the same direction.

Played around a little in Paint and did a VERY rough edit to explain myself better. When you have a chance, could you please "clean" up my messy work? I removed the extra a in Megan, decided against having WDW on it (kind of obvious with the Mickey head). Could you also please put a Mickey head in place of the "0" in 2011? Also, please turn "Jim" and "Letty" so that all the names around the bottom are "facing" the same direction. Sorry so many requests. Once again, thanks so much for working on this for us!

I made this EXACT design for my 4 generation family trip 2 years ago. I can't submit the image but it was similar to this. We got SO many compliments!!!

This is what we put on the front with no names for safety reasons. Everyone picked their favorite character and she put what generation we were.

Thanks so much, Ladies. That DISign is great! Would it be possible to remove the pictures in the middle of Mickey's head and put text instead? We may have the shirts screen printed so we need to limit our colors. You can see what I mean in post #15. We'd like Stevens Family to really stand out and have 2011 with a Mickey head for the 0. Thanks so much! In case you can't read the names, they are as follows:

1st generation: GG (great-grandma)
2nd generation: Papa
3rd generation: Jason, Letty, Travis, Tara, Megan, Jim
4th generation: Ryan, Justin, Jason Jr, Cora, Marshall, Lauren
