We went to wwd for 10 days in October, since we have been back all my 3 year DD wants for Christmas is to go back to wwd. I have called and we could go for 5 night for about 1000.00 not including meals, spending money, and fuel we would be driving 13 hours. I would like to get some info on if it is to soon to go back or what

Heck no, it's never too soon to go back. I was there October 24th for 5 days and am going back December 14th. And you haven't lived until you've been to WDW at Christmas time. Make sure you get your tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! The crowds are very manageable until you get to a few days before the 25th! After that, forget it. (Just my opinion - - I hate crowds.)

There's no such thing as too much Disney! If you can afford it & your family is in agreement, then put on your mouse ears & jump in the car! I figure that my daughter is only going to be little for a short while...I want to make the most of it, and WDW is a great place to do that...where else can the whole family act & feel like kids? If we could afford it, we'd be there all the time.

Thanks for your reply, I feel the same way you do, they are only kids once. My husband feels like we spent so much money the last trip we need to not go again until next year.

We have gone many times in a one year period. We have done Christmas time for the last four years. This year (after a trip in July, after a trip in January, after a trip in December, after a trip in August, after a trip in June, are you getting my drift?) we are finally going to be there ON CHRISTMAS DAY:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc If you love it the way we all do, and it doesn't put you into "hock" (like some of us are, lol) then go for it! My kids NEVER questions why (and they are 12 nd 16) we are going to wdw, just WHEN! Have a great time!

I sat go!! Then again my family has hopped in the car for our 16 hour drive to WDW when all we had was a 3 day weekend.( we leave Friday pm, drive straight through arriving sat noonish, do a park on Sunday, then head home early, early am on Monday). We are spending our first actual Xmas in the parks this year-one place our family shares pure happiness!!!

Christmas at WDW is one of my very favorite things in the world. It's hard to really visualize how beautifully decorated it is. You can spend several days just touring the resorts (not counting the parks).

That said, we also went in December but before Christmas. From Christmas until New Year's is incredibly crowded. I've known them to actually close the parking lot by 10 or 11 a.m. due to the crowds. Some people thrive on that sort of thing, but not me (and definitely NOT my DH).

I hope you do get to go. It brings back memories of when my DD was little and her first Christmas trip.

Not too soon from a time point of view BUT...

what she enjoyed in October when the crowds are relatively light may not be so much fun at Christmas. The place definitely is gorgeous, BUT the crowds can be horrendous.

The first time I took DS to WDW was between Christmas and New Years. (The company I worked for was having a meeting beginning Jan 2, and had told folks to bring families if they wished - we got in Dec 30th). Well, we survived New Years Eve at Epcot, and it was awesome. The next day was another thing. My DS, then 7, ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK. It literally was so crowded that he was overwhlmed and could not enjoy it.

On the up side, we knew we had only seen a fraction, so planned another trip the following summer (and many trips since).

It truly is a magical place with a child and we have many wonderful memories. Just be aware it may not be the same experience for her that it was in October.
