PLEASE help by giving concierge opinions!

My family will be braving the 4th of July crowds this year to celebrate my anniversary, which happens to be on the 4th. (If only I had known that I would become such a Disney nut, I swear that I would have chosen a different wedding date for future anniversaries when Disney parks are less crowded! ) My birthday is on the 5th and I have decided to celebrate the special occasions by spending a week at Disney.

I will be traveling with my three year old and eight year old daughters. I would like to really splurge and stay on the concierge level at either the Grand Floridian, The Polynesian, or the AKL. I am probably least excited about the Polynesian, but I have read so many great things about their concierge that I am considering it.

Which of the concierge choices above would you be most inclined to recommend? Please help!!!

Hi and first of all congratulations on your festive plans!
I love the GF but I can tell you that currently I am an AKL CONVERT! I am going (concierge) in a couple of weeks and the level of service I've received so far is terrific and so FRIENDLY. I am so thrilled to be staying here and have read stellar reports across the board (no pun intended!) Their concierge level is A+. On the other hand, I have heard surprisingly lukewarm reviews about GF RPC concierge and I myself found GF Lodge concierge so-so, although I LOVE the resort.
Good luck, happy planning and my vote is for AKL Concierge. Look for my trip report mid-October (going with my 7-year-old DD and my parents)!!

I think it depends on what parks you will visit the most.If you will be going to MK alot nothing beats the Poly or GF with the monorail and boat access.Theres a great view of the fireworks and electrical pageant at night.Its great to be on the monorail also if you plan to go to Chef Mickeys etc.They both have great childrens activities.The GF concierge has the better food selections but the Polynesian's are great too with their own chef and kitchen right there making the food.I think the pool is better at the Polynesian.Whatever you decide have a great trip.

I would say AKL Concierge out of the choices you offered.

Make sure and do the Sunrise Safari.

We are staying at YC Concierge next month and have been AMAZED by the itinerary planning staff. They have been extremely helpful!

Have you considered YC Concierge?

I have no doubt you'll enjoy any of the Concierge levels at WDW.

I've stayed at the AKL, GF, and Polynesian concierges, and highly recommend both the AKL and Polynesian, and wouldn't go back to the GF concierge if it were free.

The AKL would have to be my favorite concierge, they just try so hard, and the staff is so inviting, not to mention the Sunrise Safari. The Polynesian isn't without it's benefits though, and I really enjoyed some of the wonderful perks there as well, and you'd be able to watch the MK fireworks from your room on the 4th.
