Please Help! 9:00pm parade?!

DH and I planned our trip to DL around the marching band my dad is in playing in a parade at DL on 11/19. My dad didn't have times, only the date and at DL. We were figuring it would be the 3:00 Parade of Dreams. Wellllll, he was told by the band leaders a couple days ago that they will be playing in the 9:00pm parade. The WHAT?! DL's website has 3 parades listed for that day 3, 5:15 and 7:45.

Can anyone give me some insight into this? Could there be a 9:00pm parade?? Or are the band leaders screwed up?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There's no way DL can hold a 9pm parade. The fireworks start at 9:25 and a parade would not work. Main Street and the hub are completely full of people by about 8:30 (or earlier, esp the hub), so there's no place for the parade to go.

Usually visiting bands do not play in the staged parades, it would throw off the timing and staging of the dance routines of the performers...could he have meant 9:00am instead? I know it's been a long time, but when our H.S. band played there, we had our own little parade in the morning that some of the characters joined in.

Iceskatejen - Those were my thoughts exactly! A 9:00pm parade would not work at all!

Lord - I am going to pass the 9:00 "AM" info on to my dad so he can ask the band people specifically.
