Hey, everyone. We are soooo excited to be going to WDW 8/21 - 8/27!! We are getting the free dining program and I feel like we are getting the deal of a lifetime!! We go to Myrtle Beach and really have nothing to do for the same cost of this trip!! However, I have made all my PS and I have used too many credits. I am trying to make some of my dinner selections to coincide with the late evening hours. I need some advice. Here goes:

Sunday - MGM Hollywood & Vine just because the extra hours were in the evening at this theme park

Monday - Magic Kingdom - Cinderella Royal Table (I have an 8 year old son and was wondering if he'd really enjoy it-he's not a big princess fan)

Tuesday - Beach Club - Yachtsman Club - my man is a steak man and this is for him (this will take up 2 credits but that is okay). Anyone know of an alternative that would just use 1 credit but that is as good as I have heard this place to be?

Wednesday - Chef Mickey - must do this!!

Thursday - EPCOT - Chip & Dales - I don't know anything about it....just knew it was character. We could possibly just eat at all (well some) of the restaurants around the world.

Friday - We were going to use 2 credits and do the Aloha dinner show at the Poly. Is is worth it?

Thanks so much for any help. We have a 56 days left and a big bowl with 56 miniature candy bars in it. One of us gets to eat one every day until it is gone!!

Congratulations on your first trip!

Hollywood and Vine - never been there, but it does intrigue me...I look forward to your opinion when you get back!

Monday - Magic Kingdom - Cinderella Royal Table: I think anyone would enjoy eating at the castle...but I would also recommed Liberty Tree Tavern. Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale are there and IMHO it would be a lot better than Garden Grill (the one you have picked for Epcot)...the new menu at Garden Grill doesn't seem to be getting grand reviews and Epcot has such a tremendous variety of restaurants you can select.

Tuesday - Beach Club - Yachtsman Club: This one made me smile! I just made our AR for here for my DH too...he loves steak and is excited to try this with credits. If you want to save credits, Le Cellier at Epcot (Canada) is excellent and only takes 1 per person now. It's also a steakhouse. I believe it is less formal than Yachtsman...I've never been to YS so I can't say, but I do know we make LC a must do every trip.

Wednesday - Chef Mickey: Agreed!!! You absolutely have to experience this one...your DS will love it! Our little guy loves CM's more than anything.

Thursday - EPCOT - Chip & Dales: Again, I'd try another Epcot restaurant, or maybe go over to the Beach Club to Cape May Cafe (like a clambake type buffet for dinner but still great for people who don't like seafood, like my family!) or even Beaches and Cream at the BC...EXCELLENT sundaes! Or if you still do YS on Tuesday, maybe this is a good night for Le Cellier? Your DS will like it too...make sure he orders the chocolate "moose"...!

Friday - We were going to use 2 credits and do the Aloha dinner show at the Poly. Is is worth it?: We've never done this - I can tell you the Hoop Dee Do is fun, but the Luau also does look like a good time.

Your choices look great! And congrats for planning so much in advance - it really does help a lot! And I love your candy bar idea!!! Someday when DS is older and can restrain himself from eating the whole bowl, I am going to try this!

H&V is pretty good, not my fav though
CRT we are trying this for the first time, 8 of 10 reviews are good so I am looking forward to this
Spirit of Aloha was good 13 years ago, but I have heard some very mixed reviews on this but dont let anyone change your mind, it could be a magical experience
If your son is into animals you have got to try Rainforest Cafe in AK or DTD

Thanks for the tips and your time. Everyone in these forums are so sweet! I have never done anything like this and it is so fun!! My husband and son are such computer geeks and they laugh at me when I get so excited to get a response!!! Thanks again.
