This may sound silly, but I can't decide if we should take a last minute Disney trip! DS, my mother, and I are taking a trip in Sept. (dh can't make that one), already set, and we went as a family this past April. I didn't think our next trip (after Sept.) would be until next year.

DH and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the beginning of August, so were planning on going to the beach (same where we spent our wedding) at the end of the month into the beginning of August. Low and behold, last night dh came home from work and said that if I wanted to, we could go to DISNEY instead since the prices were very close to each other. I was floored!

BUT, I am nervous. The shortest notice we went to Disney on was a month. I am worried that 1) we won't get our ME luggage tags and packets (voucher for the hotel, airline e-tickets, etc) in time. Do you think Disney will be able to get us our info in time? And worry #2) DH has a tough time breathing in high humidity--I have never been to Florida in July, but I would assume it's humid. Is it extremely humid? DH said he did in fact survive living in the south in the summer so said he should be fine.

What do you think? DH is in shock that I am hesitating, lol.

I think my frugality has kicked in. When we went in April, I didn't think of upgrading the tickets to APs. I figured when we went in Sept (with the free dining plan promo) I would upgrade mine, and my son's tickets to APs so we'd save on tickets for next year's trip. I was wondering, *if* we go on this last minute trip, would it benefit us to upgrade my husband's ticket this time around, and ds and my tickets after check-in in Sept.? (whole upgrading tickets sort of confuses me, lol)

We went in July and if it got hot, we opted for a pool day. I had a great time and glad that we did it.

Don't worry about ME. What could be the worst case; you take a cab. We prefer that over ME. We never appreciated the Mears thing and we like to go to Publix and get groceries.

Take the trip to relax and plan out the rest of your summer. Some of the best times were the trips, unplanned.

Is it just you and dh going on the trip? If so, I say go for it! I would love to go with just dh and not even do the parks. Just enjoy our resort and everything else WDW has to offer--maybe hit Epcot at night or something! Let us know what you decide :)
