We are going to the World 12/2-12-10. Its me dh, MIL, 2 dds (4), and part of the time SIL & BIL. I had my internerary all planned out and was so pleased with myself :goodvibes But now I am just so confused :confused3

I used Len's Unofficial guide and planned it all out months in advance (like the rest of you). I had wanted this trip to be so perfect like our trip last September. We hit the parks on all the right days and had a blast. This year the pressure is on b/c I have my MIL, SIL & BIL who have never been. Now from everything I have read here I think I've totally screwed up :earseek: I'm really worried about Sat, Sun and Mon.

Here's the original plan:
Friday 12/2 - DTD, Chef Mickeys dinner watch MVMCP Wishes from Poly beach
Sat 12/3 - Epcot
Sun 12/4 - MGM (had to do this since it was SIL only day even though
its EMH day)
Mon 12/5 - MK (reading here it looks like MK will be the busiest this day)

Tues 12/6 - MVMCP
Wed 12/7 - off day
Thurs 12/8 - AK
Fri 12/9 - Epcot
Sat 12/10 MK 1/2 day

Now with Len's and others' wisdom in the other thread it looks like I should change things around.

Plan #2
Friday 12/2 - DTD, Chef Mickeys dinner watch MVMCP Wishes from Poly beach
Sat 12/3 - MK (parade filming a real detourment ?)
Sun 12/4 - MGM
Mon 12/5 - (have CRT breakfast) then Epcot

Tues 12/6 - MVMCP
Wed 12/7 - off day
Thurs 12/8 - AK
Fri 12/9 - Epcot
Sat 12/10 MK 1/2 day

I know all of you have your own schedules to plan, but I'd love to hear any opinions!

Tabitha,

Stick with what you've already got! It's easy to get caught up in the "should I change this....what if that is crowded...etc". The best piece of advice I can give you is to go early!! Crowds are always smaller in the mornings and you will probably get most of the major things out of the way.

Worst case scenario, you can always hop!

I would stick with your original plans. How hard will it be to go MK for CRT and then tell your girls you are leaving for another park. MK is just so magical that I don't think that would be a pleasant experience. I know my DS would be content if that was the only park we visited.

Stick to your original plan. Yes, there will people around, but I doubt that it will be so busy that it will be a problem. This is a great time to go!! Might be a little busier than September - just got back from a VERY uncrowded trip, but I think it will still be extremely managable.Have a wonderful trip - hope you planned plenty of time AWAY from the family as well as with them!!!

I make out my "schedule" and tweak it time and time again before we leave. However, one thing I've learned is that you have to be ready to be flexible. There have been times that I've planned to be in a park and within an hour we weren't having a good time so we decided to bag it and go somewhere else, hit DTD, or whatever. Other times we were going to be somewhere just for a meal or whatever and decided to stay longer because we've been having a great time. So, for us, my schedule making is more or less a hobby to keep me busy while I'm counting the days. Once we get there we probably stick to it 80% of the time and almost always stick with our meal ressies because we've really prioritized them. But no matter what, just be ready to have fun!

For heaven's sake follow YOUR schedule, not mine! :teeth:
We will be there 12/3-12/11 and dealt with the same issues (incld UG), and reached someone different conclusions, but so what?
See you at MVMCP though! Have great time!!!
