Please give me a list of hotels that are clean/bug free

I agree with you, but when there are old eggs, shells and blood all over the mattress....there is no excuse for that. The maid should have discovered that. Her butt should be handed to her. That just shouldn't ever happen at WDW, just shouldn't.

You are correct. Someone should have noticed that a few linen changes ago.

Gross!! Did you discover this doing your own inspection? I'm shocked. I thought Disney was very proactive when it came to BB.

Unfortunately I was quite ignorant on bedbugs. After over 100 WDW trips and as DVC members we had NEVER experienced them. I thought my children and ourselves just had "mosquitoe" bites. I thought the blood smears on the sheets were due to my children picking at the bites. I had NO idea until I left them sleeping one morning and witnessed the bugs crawling all over them when I went to get them up. It was horrible.
 
I probably should not be reading this thread since my trip is in four days.......

I feel itchy just reading this thread :scared1::eek: but I'm glad I did - I will never again just plop into a hotel room without doing the inspection tstimd1 posted the link to - thanks for the info :thumbsup2

I'm so sorry about your experience.. But yea.. that's really gross!! :scared1: I'm glad now you know and what to look for. :)
