Hoop De Doo and the revolving rest. at The Land at Epcot (the name is escaping me at the moment).

We have a dd(3) and have never been to Hoop Dee Do. I really don't know much about it but we booked it anyways. How long is it, do you think she will enjoy it? Is it a buffet or all you can eat served at your table?

We ate at The Land many many years ago (before dd). Is it still character dining? I read that they had changed the menu and then changed it back to what it was originally. We have one more ts left and was thinking about trying this one.

Thanks!

Never done HDD, but I have eaten at Garden Grille. I didn't like it at all. Nobody in my family did. We thought the food was disgusting and greasy and the service was non-existent. And the bill was really high for the crummy experience that it was.

That said, the character interaction was very good, the revolving thing was sorta cool and almost everyone else in the free world loves Garden Grille. ;)

Never done Garden Grill, but HDD is fantastic.

Food is all you can eat, served at your table. The entertainment is corny but great fun. Two of my kids were two years old the first time we took them to HDD and they had a blast. All the singing and music and crowd participation kept them occupied the whole show, which is about 2 hours.

We have reservations for our 8th trip to the HDD in June. For us it never gets old and the first question the kids ask when we tell them we're going to WDW is "are we going to the HDD"?

And take it from someone who has stayed at the campground many times. The easiest way to get to FT. Wilderness and the HDD is to take your resort bus to MK and get on the Ft. Wilderness boat there. It's a nice boat ride to the campground and Pioneer Hall (where the HDD is) is about 200 yards right up the path from the boat dock.

I would go to the HDDR. While you DD is a bit young for the show (most, if not all, of it will go right over her head) she will still enjoy the singing, dancing, hand clapping and washboard thumping during the show.
