The difference of a lock off room vs a non? We are looking at the AK. Thanks.

A lock-off room is simply two rooms with a door connecting it. Technically, I guess, it's two doors - one in the one-bedroom and one in the studio such that when both are opened you can get from one room to the other without going out into the hallway. A dedicated two-bedroom may have a slightly different floor plan but will be quite similar in terms of amenities.

It looks to me like Jambo house only has lockoff 2 bedrooms, while Kidani has both the lockoff and dedicated 2 bedrooms. If you are a DVC member you can go to the website to see the floor plan of the lockoff rooms -- I don't see a floor plan for the dedicated rooms, though. If not a member, then it really is just the two rooms (a studio and a one-bedroom) with doors connecting them.

Lock-offs are basically the studio that connects to a 1 bedroom. It will have it's own entrance and a kitchenette and 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa.

The non-lock-off is the actual second bedroom in the dedicated 2 bedroom villa. 2 queen beds and probably a big closet where the kitchenette would be.
