wondering what they are
understand they are part of the Year of a Million dreams?

My daughter got one in trading with a CM and other than it saying on the back that it was for the year of a million dreams we got no other explanation

Do you mean this pin?

This pin was given to DD by a cast member. It had two of them on the card and one was to keep and one was to give away to a friend.

I got one from a Dream Squad member for chasing down a pin that had fallen off his holder. There are two on there, one to keep, one to pass on. You'll see a lot on CM lanyards. There are three styles, a light blue, med blue and navy.

thanks
I want one! I want one!
Since Tink has now made a permanent landing on my shoulder I want everything Tink!

DD was given one by a dream squad member in April. We were told that this pin could not be bought - just given or traded. There are two on the card as OP mentioned. One to keep and one to give away.

My daughter was given this set of pins by a CM last October at F&W Festival. YOAMD was brand new at that time and my DD was so excited

My daughter traded for one of these when we were there in august. She was told by two different cast members that she had a special pin that you can not buy, that they are given in pairs when a cast member sees you doing a good deed for another person.

I got a pair of pale blue tinkerbell year of a million dreams pins from a security guard while eating breakfast at Boma. As far as I could tell, I hadn't done anything except make unhealthy breakfast choices.

It was hard to give the pin away.. so many people in a hurry or putting up "the Wall" around themselves in crowded spaces. Finally I gave it to a mother eating lunch with her son and husband in the Cosmic Ray Cafe in MK.

I was told when given the pin not to sell it or trade it, because it should only be a pin that is given as a gift.

We were told this as well by the Poly concierge (DD was giving away a gently used princess dress to another family we knew only through TGM) and I thought it was a really good lesson for DD to know that doing something good was meaningful. She gave her 2nd pin away to a girl in a family that let us share the rope with them at DHS rope drop, so DD could see. DS got one later in the week at Mousegears for picking up Mr. PotatoHead parts (I think it was Mr. P) that were strewn all over the floor and putting them away.

I was disappointed to see later in the week, though, a monorail CM with one on her lanyard that someone had obviously traded her for! Just sort of spoiled the specialness for me, but DD didn't pick up on it.

Those are the pins (picture) that also came in the Mickey Mom's Club packets. One to keep, one to give away.

That's sweet that they both got a set. :goodvibes

We've got them but we got them through trading. I didn't know they were special as DH got them off the pin boards in the hotel. My girls love Tink and they are nice pins. We've got 2 or 3 different styles of these.

I had kind of a bizarre experience with this pin. I was at Conservation Station, I get a tap on the shoulder and a Cast Member hands me a card with ONE pin. All I could say was "Thank you!" before she just smiled and walked away. The card said the pin was "one to give", so I thought maybe someone gave the CM their extra and then she in turn just gave it away to me? :confused3 It was weird, but still magical! There's a slight possibility that this woman wasn't even a Cast Member, and that I was in too much shock to really process what had just happened, but I'm pretty sure she had on khaki pants and a blue vest. I wasn't doing anything special, but I did have a Tinker Bell purse so maybe she knew I liked Tink. :)

My DD was given the set from a cast member on our November 2006 trip. We were seeing Lightning McQueen at Mater and she'd given her tattoos (from the CMs) to her little brother. So, a CM gave her the set. I was a little teary-eyed.

This is interesting! I got one two weeks ago from a cast member. It has Tinkerbell and "where wishes come true" but it is a darker shade of blue and the text is in the upper right corner, not the lower corner. Also, it was just one pin, not two. The card doesn't say anything about sharing with another person.

We were there for mardi gras in february. We were leaving the park and stopped to use the restroom before we got in line for the bus. There was a CM cleaning the bathroom while we were in there. She saw my dd pick up someone else's paper towel off the floor and throw it away before she washed her hands. She took out the set of pins and gave one to my oldest dd for her good deed and gave the other to her little sister. They were thrilled with the gift and gave many thanks. I made sure they understood it was given to them as a thank you for helping to keep disney clean by throwing out someone else's trash.

The 9-year-old lass in our group last December received a set from a CM at The Emporium on Main Street. It was her first visit to WDW and first at MK, so it was magical! :)
