Hi friends,
I am curious abt the Sizzix. I can see it is a personal die cutter - very cool
But what is the new sizzlits & why/what does one need a converter for?

also what die cuts do you recommend starting out with?
letters?
what store has best prices????
any other info abt this product I would appreciate it!
I think I REALLY need one of these hahaha

Yes, it is a personel die cutter. They just come out with a smaller in size sizzlites. If you go to www.sizzix.com (Homepage) it should answer all your questions.
Check out Michaels when they have a 50% coupon, which maybe this weekend due to it being a holiday weekend. And get to the store bright and early because on 50% weeks they go like hotcakes.
If I had the space I would be right with you. My friend has one so I just grub from her..........;)

Good Luck

The adapter is needed since the sizzlits are thinner than the regular diecuts. This will allow the pressure handle to be pulled far enough to make the cut (does that make sense?). If you've ever seen a quickcuts, it's more like that. It will make storage issues much better since it's all smaller too. I have a sizzix and I'm a huge fan. My 6 year old loves it and we use in her class at school as well as for every project we have (church, school, scrapping, etc.). I just made several birthday cards last night using the sizzix. You have to think outside the box to get your best value with the sizzix, but it's worth it once you have it.
