Hi! I just want to make sure I understand Park Hopper Plus tickets. My family might be staying offsite in 2005 and we are planning to buy 7 day Park Hopper Plus tickets. Does this mean we can go to AK in the morning and then MK in the evening(equals one day of our Park Hopper)?

Thanks

With both Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus tickets, you can go to as many parks as you like in one day and it will only count as one day on your ticket.

The Plus means you get a certain amount of extra "tickets" for other attractions. With the 7 day+, you get four of these extra "tickets". You can use these them at the water parks and Pleasure Island. (but not Disney Quest).

Example, if you go to Typhoon Lagoon in the morning, leave and come back it counts as one plus.

If you go to Typhoon lagoon in the morning and Blizzard Beach in the afternoon, it counts as two plusses.

Note: When I say extra ticekts, I mean the plusses are encoded on the park hopper plus ticket you get. You don;t get separate tickets.

So does that mean that with an Ultimate Hopper we're allowed to come and go as we please at any time the parks are open? (With the exceptions noted on the tickets, like games that have prizes and contests?)

LG - that's ride with the UPH you can come and go as much as you want and you don't have to worry about pluses.

Yes, the UPH lets you go to any park, water park, PI AND disney Quest anytime.

Just remember that the UPH is only good for the length of your stay, where as the park hopper and PHP unused days NEVER expire. We got 7 day PHP tickets in our stockings from Santa (DH and me, 2 kids, and 2 older kids that require adult tickets.) We will make these last 2 or 3 visits as we also do other things in the area (visit family, do SW....) UPH is good for a "once in a lifetime, let's see and do EVERYTHING " trip, but IMO the PH and PHP tickets are better for repeaters who don't want to buy APs.

As the previous posts state the UPH is great if you are only going to Disney parks. The Draw back to the UPH is that if you go to other non Disney Parks like Universal or Sea World, you paid for a day on the UPH that you did not use so in effect the UPH becomes more expensive. The UPH also expire the day after you leave so if you did not go to a Park because of weather or you just felt like staying at the resort pool to chill or what ever, you also paid for a day of Park use for nothing. It may be better to use the PH Plus tickets so that if you don't go to a Disney Park or if you don't use all of the admissions, they don't expire and can be used the next time you visit. You have to Plan in order to get the best deal. If you know you are only going to Disney Parks every day you are there and you will be Park hopping then the UPH is the way to go. If you are planning to visit other Non Disney Parks then go with the PH or PH Plus tickets. Also remember at some point the annual pass becomes the best deal if you are staying more than a week or you will be revisiting within a year. Decisions Decisions, but its great fun in planning.
