Please don't...

I too get a little annoyed at the pushing and shoving.

I also have another problem with B.O.
I do realize that other countries do not have the personal hygenie that we do, however what do you do when you are stuck at MGM's Little Mermaid Theatre and you are sitting right beside someone that is so bad that it makes you want to gag....? Not only that they wouldnt be quit so I could enjoy the show.

I realize that this thread is about personal space, but I kind of feel my breathing room is part of my personal space.

I want to add that the same people that sat by us at the Little Mermaid came and sat down right in front of us at Indiana Jones Theatre...luckly we were early and you can get up and move if you would like. So we did...unfortunatly in the Little Mermaid you cant get up and move...

Any suggestions would be great at this point I am ready for another trip in a couple of months but pushing and shoving and the B.O can almost spoil anyones time LOL.

If people actually have to be TOLD this, then I believe we're wasting our breath.

Yes, this is one of my pet peeves too - also the 'smelly' issue(& line cutting at the last minute), but I don't think it is specific to people in other countries. I would say the majority of the offenders that I have come across in WDW are americans - not always - but most often. Too bad.

Anyway, I don't have a great solution. After politely asking or hinting I have resorted to being rude back sometimes - & I really don't like to be - using some of the tactics mentioned above. That usually only happens if they push one of my kids out of the way of seeing something or something like that.

The last time we were in MGM we let some kids come up in front with ours to watch the parade & while we were talking the adults pushed to the front & pushed OUR kids into the back. Needless to say - this was one of those times that I got a bit aggressive. I told the other kids that they'd have to go to the back if there was no room for mine to come back up. And I stuck to my guns!!

I like the people that walk straight at you at 60 miles an hour expecting you to dive out of their way (sometimes with strollers). I just stop in my tracks. Rather than just run you over they have to stop, too, and go around you.
