Yep, some things come to bite you in the rear.

I thought it was for the mom of 2 expecting triplets who was kicked out of her house so the other woman could move it.I received some nice items from someone here on the board for my sisters babies
TinkerbellMama said:Even if you are absolutely correct about all of this...and perhaps you are, I really have no idea...I don't understand why you are making such a HUGE deal out of it. If you give someone an item and they re-sell it on eBay, that's not the end of the world. If you feel she has defrauded you (legally), then by all means file a claim against her. Post the information on the boards to forewarn others, or whatever. But IMO you are WAY overreacting. Just don't give her anything else, don't give to anyone at all from now on if you don't want to, but like I said, IMO you are WAY overreacting by threatening to call the news.JMO.

Oh and could you explain the difference between lawyer and attorney, since you claim she had appointments with both lawyers and attorneys on the same day.
Stepharoonie! said:I like how you also posted as Mommy2Lots on your other thread, trying to throw posters off of the trail. ORIGINALLY, Mommy2Lots name said that they were located in "North of Atlanta Georgia", but was moving to TX in 2 weeks, but living in CO right now. Now, Mommy2Lots deleted their location under their name. Interesting.

if there is no written or verbal contract in ref to the items, that specifically states she cannot resell or give the items away it is basically none of your business.
i don't know the facts or the background but if the op said she needed things when she did not (AGAIN ONLY IF THIS HAPPENED) just to sell them, she should be ashamed of herself, it is more of a moral issue not one of fraud.
Once you give items away, they no longer belong to you, and what she does with them from this point forward does not concern you.
Everyone act like adults and let it go.

So you think it should be kept form other Dis boards members? Do you think it is right to protect others on this board from this happing again? Just a question I wandered how you felt. Would you want to know if a person had done this over and over? No flaming here, I really just want to know what you think. To protect or not to protect.
meloneyb21 said:I agree with both HappyLawyer and eeyoregon, but no matter how she asked for the stuff everyone has to take some responsibility. Tiggger1 was too trusting to someone she hardly even knew and Tigger113 was just a liar. Now if Tigger113 would have just thrown the clothes in the trash because her so-called sister didn't want them, I doubt anyone would be complaining. But because she decided to sell them for profit, it pissed Tiggger1 off because that was something she could have done. So now she's upset because somebody is basically making money off her. It's like, if I didn't make any money off of it then you can't either.....Not saying the way Tigger113 went about it was honorable, but there's not really anything you can do about it now.....Just make a vow to yourself that you will never let that happen to you again.
What can ya say?![]()
