We're going the first week after Thanksgiving and just made my ADR's yesterday and as I continue learning (this is our first trip) I have discovered that I have to many "points". :confused3

Please critique my plan. We are on the DxDP, staying at CR with park hoppers and taking our 3.5 yr old. We may just have to pay OOP for something. :headache:

Sun-MK day-arrive mco 10:55 am
L-Contempo Cafe
D- 4:55 Crystal Palace and MVMCP-ideas other than CP for the MVMCP?

Mon-Epcot day
B-Kouzzina
L-Via Napoli
D-Flying Fish-IS THIS JUST AWESOME??? Worth two dining credits?

Tues-DHS day
B-GF Cafe
L-50's Prime Time (not excited abt this one)
D-5:15 Ohana & Osborne Lights

Wed-MK day
B-CRT-must do this for my 3.5 yr old
L- ??? Out of points-snack maybe
D-1900 Park Fare-My DD will be on our own this night-no clue what to do...I know this is princess overload....

Thurs-Animal Kingdom day
B-Tusker House
L- ??? Out of points-snack here again....
D-Cali Grill & go to Parade/Wishes

Fri-Departing MCO at 1:55 pm
B-Chef Mickey's-not terribly excited abt this one either based on reviews

Thank you so much!!!!

I think you did very well except for Tuesday.

You will probably want to get to DHS at or close to rope drop, so I'm not sure that I would kill time at the GF. That is a day to grab something at Starring Roll once you get inside the park unless a sit down breakfast is a must.

Lunch at 50's will be fine, but maybe you want to make that a place for dinner. It doesn't make much sense to go to Ohana for dinner (which is all the way back at the Poly) and then return for Osborne Lights. It can be done, but isn't something that I would recommend. Haven't checked the park hours but assuming a relatively early closing time, leaving the park to get to the Poly, only to return to catch the lights means that you will barely get a half day at the park, especially if you factor in a sit-down lunch. I would try to do 50's for dinner and remain at the park for the day.

Otherwise, I think you did very well.

Table service for breakfast lunch and dinner seems like an awful lot. Since some of the over the counter food in epcot is so good, I would probably cancel a meal that day and/or lose the prime time and maybe just get some not so great pizza at pizza planet.

You could also skip a breakfast meal and just pick up some pastry or have something in your room etc. and then you can fully enjoy your two credit meal.

I would probably pick up some pastry/croissants in epcot the night before and skip the Grand Floridian breakfast. Or do that breakfast on your departure day instead of chef mickeys.

You could do Ohana on your mk night, do a late lunch/early dinner at via napoli on epcot day and then have counter service later, and do flying fish on studios night (you can take the boat there and back).

you asked about someplace other than CP when you go to MVMCP...how about liberty tree tavern? we have always like CP but last trip tried LTT at the suggestion of my aunt (her family came with us) and we LOVED it. even the kids ate great! just a thought.

when is your breakfast at kouzzina? do you know how you're going to get there? just leave extra time if you're planning on disney transportation b/c you'll need to transfer and all that. (or just take a cab and be done with it :) )

via napoli and then flying fish...hmm..i'm a big eater and even i am thinking, geez she is going to be full! like pp said, 3 TS might be a little too much, especially with a little one. maybe not, though, of course only you know your dining habits! my son is turning 2 this month and doesn't sit for more than 5 seconds. haha

Thank you! We have to take our daughter at some point back to CR for a rest. I was thinking Ohana on the was back. I made it early enough to go back and see the lights. Thank you so much for your input!

Just remember that with the DxDDP, you will get an app, entree and dessert, so you will be full (trust me)! We loved the plan, having always done the reg. one, but we did it a little different. We had a great breakfast, sometimes (very few times) had lunch (mostly QS) and then had dinner, whether signature or not. If you are going to pay OOP, you should definitely do that at a QS.

Where was my thread moved to? The few times I have had a thread moved I was given a courtesy mail as to where it went by the mod that moved it. I would appreciate that courtesy this time as well. Thank you.
:rolleyes1
