Hello! For those of you who like to help out with other people's touring plans, I'd love your feedback :) Dining is already booked, just planning FPs now and I'm unsure if my timing goals are realistic. 4 adults, 2 kiddos - will be 3 and 6.

Arrive for rope drop & show - 8:00am? (park opens at 9)

Go straight to M&G with Cinderella/Elena - no FP

Meet Ariel & walk on to Little Mermaid, no FP (will this have a long wait??)

-Barnstormer, no FP (will this have a long wait?)

-Carousel

-Lunch at 11:30am at Cinderella’s Royal Table

-Rapunzel & Tiana FP - book for 1:30pm-ish

-Move it shake it dance party 1:45pm (maybe)

-Enchanted Tales with Belle FP- book for 2:30pm

-Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP - book for 3pm-ish

**the rest of the day is up in the air. We have a dinner reservation at BOG for 8:30pm which I might cancel. It's way too late for us, but it's all I could get. I just wanted everyone to experience the castle because it's so cool. So, we'll see about that.

How does our day look to you? Is it too crammed? Is my timeline realistic?

Thanks so much!

If you really want to experience BoG, I would something counter service earlier then have dessert at BoG. It really is beautiful. And you can still meet the Beast. Also, keep watching for an earlier time. Things pop up all the time.

Thank you for that idea! Do I just keep my dinner reservation, but you just order dessert? I've only ever been there for lunch, so I'm not overly clear on this. Really good idea, thank you :)

I'd say you can do a lot more in your 9AM-11:30 window than what you have listed if you want to. If you will truly be there at rope drop, you're WAY ahead of the large majority of guests. The attractions you list such as Barnstormer, Mermaid, Carousel, etc should all be very very low waits that early. I bet you could also easily do things like IASW, Dumbo, and the Sideshow Circus characters.

I am consistently amazed at just how much one can get accomplished during the first 2 hours after park opening if you put your mind to it.

Remember the rope drop show changes 1/7 I think. No more show outside the park, will be in front of the Castle. Make sure to check posts once that is up an running so you know what time makes sense to show up.

Do your kids nap? At 3 (and 6 frankly) I've always had to retreat for a rest, but obviously all kids are different.

Good luck!

It's not a fixed price menu. You can order as much or as little as you want. So yes, you just keep your ADR and only order dessert, if that's what you prefer. Or you could share a meal, have soup and dessert, whatever you want.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that we can potentially fit more in. I was worried I had it too full! I also didn't know that there would be no more show outside the park. I'd never seen it, so that's sort of a bummer :/ I'm sure it'll be good inside as well.

My kids are not nappers. That said, they will be tired, so I'm hoping we can do shows here and there so that they can relax a bit. If someone REALLY gets sleepy, we can always go back to the resort.

So great, thanks for all of the info!

Thanks again! I think I would've cancelled this reservation had you not mentioned this dessert idea. I so appreciate it!

I personally wouldn't waste a FP on tales with belle unless there is nothing else you really want to do. Both times we went it was easy to just walk right up. The only wait was waiting for the performance in front of yours to be over. There is room for several people to enter and be a part of each performance.

I also agree you will be able to get a lot more done in the morning then looks like you have planned! Have fun!

When are you going? I agree with other folks that you should be able to get a lot done in the first couple of hours. The character meet and greets are hard to predict since they can be slow. Little Mermaid should be walk on at that time of day. Not sure about Barnstormer since we've never been on that ride. But you should be able to get a get a few more things done. Peter Pan and Pooh will probably have longish lines by the time you get off Barnstormer but Small World, Haunted House (but can be scary for younger kids), Buzz Lightyear are all possible. In fact, with the age of your kids Buzz Lightyear is probably a good choice after Barnstormer, then the Carousel. You should consider Mickey's Philharmagic - very fun, should be great for your kids, and rarely a long wait.

Thank you! I wondered about walk-on with Belle. We've done it once before, but my youngest daughter was just a baby. This time she'll really love it, I'm sure, so I want to make sure we get there. Good to know, thanks!

We're going in May, so I think crowds should be pretty manageable (I hope so, anyway!). That's what I was hoping to hear about the little mermaid :) I've never actually seen Mickey's Philharmagic, so I'm glad you mentioned it - we might check it out! Thanks!

We also walked right into enchanted tales with belle so I do not think you need a fast pass. I would use it on Peter Pan or buzz lightyear. Both rides were a hit with my 3 and 5 year olds.

I would also keep BOG. We ate lunch there and the castle is beautiful.

I would change your belle fast pass to Peter Pan. Do belle sometime in the morning. Maybe after or before Ariel. I would also try to do dumbo and pooh in the morning. We have young girls too. We did Peter Pan, mine train, pooh, carousel, dumbo, barnstormer, Ariel ride, Ariel meet and greet and belle all before lunch. We were there in September. Maybe look for a pre pro opening breakfast at be our guest to get you in early and back to fantasy land befor even more if the crowd. That's what we did and I think that helped.

Early May can be a great time of year. My wife and I went on our first adults only trip the first week of May a few years ago and the crowds were fine. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire time we were there, but that's always a risk with Florida weather. The last week of May is when Disney starts getting summertime busy. However, if you are at the park prior to rope drop you can get a lot done regardless of the time of year. Just keep in mind you need to be at the bus stop pretty early (or alternatively catch a cab - my preferred mode of transportation in the morning) to make sure you take full advantage of the morning hours.

I think you could easily meet all the princesses back to back at rope drop and use your FP for something else. We were there last April and essentially did all of Fantasyland (with the exception of Storybook circus) before 11.

So, with this new MK show...what time do we plan to arrive if we want to be there for 'rope drop'? MK is slated to open at 9am, so I think that means they're letting people in at 8:30am for the show. Does that mean we should arrive sometime around 8am? or earlier? and then is the consensus not to spend too much time on main street, but to wait by the entrance to whichever land you're hoping to go to? Thanks!

What day is your BOG reservation restaurant?
