please critique my dining choices

August 27: Chef Mickey's for dinner
August 28: Crystal Palace for Breakfast
1900 Park Fare for Dinner
August 29: 50's Primetime Cafe for dinner
August 30: Beaches & Cream (pay oop for this one) dinner
August 31: Le Cellier for dinner
September 2: Concourse Steakhouse ( not positive on this one) dinner
September 3: Kona for breakfast

September 1: We'll be going off property and I have gift card for macaroni grill or chili's.

I'm pretty well set with Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, and Le Cellier....but not quite positive with the others. I'd really like to do 50's primetime, but have always gotten the Fantasmic Package...so maybe Hollywood & Vine? Concourse is definately not set in stone, we'll be in MK that day. So something where we can get there by boat or monorail would be good. And I'd like to do Kona because that Tonga Toast looks so yummy!!

So, what do you think? Should I change any?

I think if you do 50's prime time Cafe on a night that there is a second Fantasmic...then you should have no problem...I have heard the wait is not as long.
LeCelleir seems like a good choice, and did you consider Yatch Club for dinner-you could take the monorail to Epcot and a boat to YC (I can't remember if it is 1 or 2 TS credits though) if your are looking for a good steak and lobster meal.

Brenda - notice that you are staying at WDW the same time as myself. Unfortunately there is only one showing of Fantasmic at this time of year - the second showing has already finished. However, the previous poster is correct in saying that the second showing is much quieter - the arena was only a third full one day in July last year.

I wasn't too keen on H&V when we tried it but hoping they resurrect a character meal by August (as is rumored on this board) - if so, we'll give it another shot - but may only be breakfast or lunch according to the posters on that thread. We enjoyed Brown Derby best for the Fantasmic Package.

Instead of Concourse maybe Liberty Tree Tavern or Ohana. If you don't want to do H&V FDP maybe Mama Melrose's . You can always do an OOP lunch at Prime Time Cafe. They are not expensive (for Disney).

Well, that would be our only other thing we could do is Brown Derby. We did H&V and I wasn't toom impressed with it either. I've also done Mama Melrose's and did not like it there either (poor service and wasn't happy with the food quality). So, we spend 2 TS credits for Brown Derby or wait in line so we can do 50's primetime...

concourse is a great choice. Went in Dec and the food was great and service was also very good. Steak was very tender and cook to perfection. having a picky 12ds they vcatered to his every whim. it was also nice to see the monorail going by during dinner.

I noticed you had all your character buffets grouped on the front end, and both steakhouses grouped on successive days. I'd swap 1900 with Concourse and break em up ie Concourse for dinner on the 28th and 1900 for dinner on the 2nd.
