Please critique my AK morning touring plan for June

My 30-day FP+ window opened this morning, and I'm really pleased with what we got. I'd love your input on it. As background info, we are Disney veterans and have seen and ridden everything many times. With the exception of Pandora, we are far more interested in just enjoying the time together than in any particular ride we might get to experience. My plan is to spend the morning at AK then head to Epcot for the afternoon/evening, with a possible stop back at AK in the late evening to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere (if we aren't too exhausted). As I expected, Flight of Passage was unavailable for FP this morning.

The park opens at 8, so my plan is to get there as early as possible (hopefully by 7:30 if we can swing it), run to Flight of Passage and do single rider, then an 8:55 FP for the River Journey. I have also booked FP for the Safari and the Lion King Show for later in the morning.

What do you think? Will we be able to ride Flight of Passage without a ridiculous line right at opening?

No one knows yet. By going for single rider I would say it's extremely likely you won't have much of a wait. I'd aim for more like 7:20 to be safe. I wouldn't expect to wait more than 30 minutes even if doing the regular standby as long as you are towards the front of the pack. But we will know a lot more in a couple weeks.
