Please compare for me,Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's

Can you give me your opinion.We've been to Chef Mickey's and it wasn't for us.We weren't that crazy about the atmoshere and unimpressed with the food.We loved Boma,O'hana and CRT to give you an idea of our tastes.We have PS's for CP for dinner for our next trip, but the menu looks very similar to CM,if I remember correctly.Also the fact that it is a character meal does not matter. I am really concerned with atmosphere and food.(Me.dd age 11 and DD age 16) TIA

The atmosphere at CP is much different than CM's. It' not as loud and crazy, still fun and the food is good! It's more on the lines of 1900 Park Fare to compare it.

Another vote for CP here. I'm having dinner there before the MVMCP on December 2nd, and can't wait. My last trip there (which was my very first experience with a character meal... or a Disney buffet, for that matter) was incredible. The atmosphere is open and airy, it's not as noisy as Chef Mickey's, the food is delicious and the character interaction just can't be beat. I recommend it highly!

I hate chef mickey's - loud noisy and overwhelming with bad food. I love CP. Great character interaction and awsome food.

I've eaten dinner a both resturants and enjoyed my experiences immensely. While I liked them both, I thought the food was a bit better at CM. However, I liked the atmosphere at CP better.

CP is a must do in my book. CM's is a "never do again". The food is so much better at CP than it is at CM's.

When we ate at CP it was very hectic. Our server and the characters were very rushed. We had to remind our server multiple times that we would like a drink refill (only asked to be refilled once and finally got it as we were about to get up to leave.) The food was ok, but we prefer CM's. Just our opinion though and all restaurants have their good and bad nights. Just our opinion.
