We will be going to WDW December 21-25. We have been there many times, but this is the first time for the holidays. We enjoy to do things "spur of the moment" but realize that since this is a very busy time, we need some PSs. It will be DH, myself, and 2 DSs ages 12 and 14. We will have breakfast in our room since we have a studio.

Here is the plan and PSs we have made....

Saturday Dec. 21...check in BCV. Visit resorts (no parks). Pizza from the take out window on the Boardwalk.

Sunday Dec 22...CP dinner package at San Angel

Monday Dec 23....Sci Fi dinner 7:15 ps, then off to Osbourne Lights.

Christmas Eve.....Dinner at Tony's 7pm!!!!

Christmas Morning.....check out....Breakfast at 7:30am at WCC.

Do you think we will be OK for lunches by just dropping in????? We are good about eating at off times and at off places!

Thanks for your comments!

I think your itinerary looks good. Since you are doing sitdown restaurants at dinner, you may want to consider a counter service lunch. I have never been to WDW the week of Christmas, but I understand that it is a busy time. You may have some difficult getting into a sitdown lunch without a PS. You may want to stop at guest services on your way into the park in the morning to arrange your lunch PS, or call to make a PS from your room.

Have fun!

You should be ok lunch at the fast food places. What a wobderful way to start xmas.

My DS wouldn't eat the pizza from the Pizza window and this is a kid that loves Dominoes.

Try ESPN or one of the other BW restaurants.

uh oh Mitch!!!!

I have a Dominos loving DS too!!!

We have gone to the ESPN Zone in NYC and Baltimore and we all enjoyed it. Is this the same chain?

We ate at Spoodles in June and we enjoyed that too, but were trying to get a very casual, relaxed meal the first night. Maybe we will have to think twice about the pizza window.

You might want to re think Sci Fi, we did it last week, It's extremely over priced and not great food. If you stick with it be sure to asked for a Parked car table, they're not all like that, just makes it a little more interesting.
We were a party of 6 so we filled our "car", but next to us was another 6 seater car and they put a family of 4 in the front two rows and then a lady and her son in the back! I thought that was a little too close for comfort since they obviously didn't know each other, it took away that little lad's chance to be the "driver".
JMHO :smooth:

Expect the counter service lines to be very long... eat before noon, to avoid this. I know we stood in line for 5 minutes at Pecos Bills last week at 11:30, and by the time we left, the line was easily 20-30 minutes long, and we weren't there during a busy time.

We were there during Easter week on year, and had no PS.... you couldn't get near a counter service restaurant, and the waits for sit down restaurants were well over an hour. We ended up very hungry, and very cranky. Make those PS, you will be glad you did!
