Please Come to my Pity Party...

I'm having a pity party for myself today, and all are welcome to join me.

Went for my dreaded yearly physical last week and had to see a different doctor as mine is no longer there. I am 45 years old and have had many, many of these physicals and they've never hurt, until this one!! Geez!! She wasn't gentle at all. The breast exam actually brought tears to my eyes and I just wanted to shove her hands away from me!! Then, to top it off, she found a lump in my throat!! So she sent me for a thyroid ultrasound and wasn't happy with the results of that (it's not a cyst) so is sending me for a thyroid scan next week. I'm not really worried too much about it as I've done some research, but still...

And yesterday I was at the hospital with my Mom most of the day as she had another lumpectomy (two lumps this time). Doctor said he thinks the lumps aren't anything to worry about so at least that is good news. But she keeps getting the lumps. This was her third or fourth surgery, she's getting sick of it. I would too if it were me.

And my Zocor isn't working well enough so doctor is switching my meds, and she fussed at me about my weight (which my previous doctor never did because she's bigger than me!) so THAT didn't help...aaaaaarrrrrgggggg!!

And on top of that our weather took a turn back to winter. After a beautiful 87 degree day on Tuesday, it's back to the 30's, ugh!!

You can have a pity party if you'd like, I'll come. I just wanted to add though, that the things you're dealing with are big, not just small little nothings! (That's what I usually have my pity parties about! ) That's a lot to have on your mind.

So, there are at least three of us here and I left the door open for the rest, so let's get this party started! Here, I brought with me this delicous, sour cream chocolate chip coffee cake! Gotta have chocolate for a pity party! Oh, and I bought a pot of coffee and some Baily's to go with it! Gotta have a tiny bit of booze to drown the blues! I'll had the Baily's over to tc, looks like she's got the drinks!

I'm there too, its raining and gray out today, yesterday it was 80....i really hate rain. my dh has a sore throat and my ds was complaining about his ear....ugh! and i cant eat chocalate as it bothers my arthritis so i'm bring donuts cause thats what my tummy looks like...

I don't drink alcohol in RL, but in this virtual pity party, bottoms up!

I'll take your Bailey's and raise you some fine wine. Or, maybe some fruity, frozen concoction.

I love chocolate, but when I'm having a pity party, it's Krispy Kreme all the way.

I'm here, um...it's after 1 a.m. but I was gone for awhile. DS installed "Sims Unleashed" for me so I've been playing that most of the day (while running back and forth to do laundry). But, thanks everyone, for comin' to my party and for all the yummy food and drinks...never had Bailey's before...hic hic hiccup...*LOL*
