Christine - I've got you. There are 52 participants so far , so I have not been able to remotely keep up with individual correspondence - I'm going to PM everyone at once with the details in a day or so !

FWIW, I was part of the swaps last year (kicked off one of the swaps). There was a little confusion with the CMs at first and when returning them, but no complaining. The CM wouldn't take our tip, either.

I think last year I had suggested doing some sort of gift (food or fruit basket, etc) for the CMs as a thank you. Starbox, maybe you could include the cost and arrange to send two baskets, staggered over the time of the swap? (I know it's more work for you, but maybe another swapper can coordinate this part?) Also, what happens to the chairs & stuff at the end? Maybe they can be "raffled" to the VB CMs that might be interested in keeping them?

No matter what, the swap is great - I'm not sure we're getting to VB this year, but next time we book, I'll be sure to look for a swap - and this is even after not using the chairs and umbrellas at all last year due to the winds!

The idea of padding the cost a little to give the CM's a gift sound like a great idea (although I hate the idea of suggesting more work for Starbox!). I'm sure if we don't have an organized gift we can all be a little more generous to the CM's that help us out. They are helping us save so much money.

The Swap LIST is NOW CLOSED to NEW REQUESTS

Sorry guys, I can't accept any new requests - but if you are supposed to on the list and I missed you - please send me a reminder. It has been a much bigger job than last year!

It looks like I could work almost everyone who requested to be on the swap list in if we have three swap groups. In a few cases, dates overlapped slightly (almost always check-in and check-out days overlapped - so it's probably possible to share - but to play it safe I adjusted the next person on the list to pick up the chairs on the day after they check-in).

I tried to place people on the list in the order that I received requests - so a few people may only have part of the requested dates.

I will PM everyone details about the price of the chairs/umbrella tonight. Please respond to the PM as soon as possible and give me your first and last name for labeling.

I know this is a big job, so not surprised if you couldn't get all the PMs out last night, but since you have my user name slightly incorrect in your list, I just wanted to touch base and make sure that wasn't causing you any problems getting up with me. I am in group three for July 5-6. We actually will check in on July 4 but didn't ask for that day since it will probably be later in the day when we get there (unless we drive part way on the 3rd) since we have about a ten hour drive to Vero Beach.

We are checking out the morning of the 7th, so depending on when Pooh.kim is arriving, we could possibly meet them and pass everything off before we leave. We do plan a fairly early start that day so we can get to OKW and at least get a partial day in one of the parks, but probably won't leave before 10 unless we load up and grab something to eat on the way to WDW.

Great idea, I had planned on just buying a couple cheap chairs and an umbrella, then handing them to someone checking in when I check out. you can do buy for about the price of one days rental.
