Hello, need some advice from all you wonderful Disney Experts out there! :thumbsup2

We're off in 26 days, second trip, first one was a blur of theme parks, restaurants and sun - loved every moment though! This time we're planning more. Majority of ADRs booked. Just a couple of small queries.

It'll be me, (40 next week - aahhhh), DH and DS6, staying at the Poly, no driving, happy with buses, taxis etc.

So - Mini golf - which one is best? Easiest to get to? Which one will I win on?!

And the Water Parks - which one for DS6 who doesn't so much swim as slowly sink whilst paddling along! DH and I can swim but we are lazy lazy people so something nice and relaxing suits us!

Thanks folks! :wave2:

I prefer the Fantasia mini golf to the Winter Summerland one, simply because the Christmas theme is a little weird to me any time other than during the holiday season! However, I would say that both mini golf parks are equally difficult and equally well themed.

As for the water parks, both have a lazy river, family raft ride, and other things you could do as a family if you don't want to do the thrilling parts of the water parks. If you are interested in snorkeling and seeing some interesting fish and sharks, Typhoon Lagoon has that.

If you are looking to do both a water park and mini golf in one day, Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland are at the same location and easy to do together in one day without an extra trip.

When it comes to choosing the waterpark; Typhoon Lagoon. My son is 6 too and he would have stayed in the wavepool the whole day (front, where they little waves are)

If I had a child that wasn't a great swimmer I'd feel more comfortable at BB. He will be able to do more slides, and the wave pool is very gentle.

We have only played at Winterland/ Summerland, and we loved it.

Or, you may decide to just skip the waterparks and swim at the Poly. Your child will love the volcano pool, and you can watch him wear himself out on the slide, while you sip Pina Coladas! :woohoo: JMHO

Great suggestion Disney Fool! :cool1:

It looks like we will try Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland as they are next to each other. Thanks very much for all your help everyone!
