Can someone advise - I have a trip scheduled for May 1-9 - If I find a better price through AAA - and cancel the first trip, and reschedule with AAA for the same dates - are my ADRs that I have scheduled still okay??

In other words, are ADRs independent of reservation number?

Yes.

I mean, yes your dining reservations are independent of your resort reservations (except that you need a resort reservation number to book 180+10 days in advance, dining plans).
