Please add this DISer to your prayer list. She needs us all right now.

I posted on the boards last year about the death of my DD Clarke Reese aka Herclover. Tonight for some reason I am missing her so very very much/ I guess I do know the reason. The Disney Majic will be crossing the Panama Canal later today/ It reminded me of the last time the Magic went to the west coast. Clarke and I were very excited about the 50th celebration. We scheduled a Disneyland stay and cruise for the 50th. We were there to get our golden Mickey Ears. We then boarded the Magic and did a cruise of the Mexican Rivera. Clarke was upset to see some scratches on her Magic caused by going through the canal.

Anyway, I'm missing my baby and went to re-read the post in memorium. I came across a post which led me to this thread. I believe that everything happens for a reason. The first post I read here is about organ donation. Clarke was a tissue and organ donor. This past April, there were so many programs honoring the donors and donor families. It was a nice thing to do, but it really made me miss my baby.

I truly beileve in organ donation. It is very heartwarming to hear a sucess story. I went to the orignial thread and read the story. Many of my donor family friends get upset when they don't hear from donor recipients. I don't care if we ever hear from them. Just knowing that in death, Clarke was able to help someone else. I will pass this story on to them. I know that it will make them happy.

We will all be saying a prayer for you. Please know that disers are amazing people and all the love and support from this community is behind you.

Thanks TruBlu for letting us know about this Diser needing prayers and hugs to you too Donnetta for sharing about Clarke in reminder that we all need to think about being organ donors... I know my daughters are... I have to admit I have not done that yet, it is on my list to do.

OH My...I had not seen the update to that post. I will most definitely say prayers for the entire family..:grouphug: Donetta you are also in my daily prayers :grouphug:

 Your post had me in tears.

Here in NC they ask you when you get your driver's license if you want to be a donor. I never even considered saying no. They put a little red heart on your license. Mine's been there since I got my learner's permit at age 15. :goodvibes
