Pleasantly surprised by Sci-Fi Dine In

I booked this for dinner and was a little apprehensive because of the reviews I've read but we really enjoyed it. For appetizers we got the onion rings and house salad. Both were yummy. I had the flat iron steak that came with veggies and au gratin potatoes. It was really good. My only complaint was the steak knife was dull dull dull. The steak was very tender but my butter knife cut it better than the steak knife.

My friend got the pan seared salmon and loved it. She said it was the best meal she had on the trip.

We both really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. I don't know if they are getting their act together but it was enjoyable all around.

I figured since so many bad things were floating around I would post a glowing report.

I'm glad you liked it! I've eaten there twice now and I liked it too. I love the BLT soup, but I'm a sucker for a BLT. The burgers there were very good and HUGE. My DH got the flat iron steak and that was a good portion too. I had the chicken sandwich once and wasn't thrilled with it, it was dry. I avoid the BBW stuff for that reason. The biggest downfall is that they offer shakes but no malts? What's up with that!

I'm really glad you liked the food. I've been twice now, and both times I ordered the hamburger, because lots of people say to stick to hamburgers. I'd love to try something else, and I'm glad to hear you say other things were good.

Also good for lunch are the pulled pork sandwich and the cold ham sandwich. They pack so much ham in there, I had a problem fitting it into my mouth. Sci Fi is one of our favorites.
