Plaza Restaurant??

I swear I have never heard of it, but I saw it on TGM and he says they have sandwiches etc... plus they take PS...

Anyone been? Sounds like a great lunch spot that's not too heavy...

oohh...the plaza is great. it is becoming more well-known. and yes, you can make PSs for the restaurant, but a lot of times, depending on the time of day, you might be able to walk in. happy eating!

We had an early dinner in June and will be back in July. We love the Plaza. And the ice cream desserts are excellent.

I've heard of it and seen it, but never have eaten there. I've read good things about it in the past.
I was thinking about going there this time around, but I wasn't sure if I should make an AR or just chance it and walk in to see if they have seats available? What do you smart Dis'ers think? We'll be in MK on Mon. the 26th. We already have the Castle lunch and the Magical Firework Voyage set for that day. I figured just a sandwich there if anyone's hungry for dinner. Should I make an AR?

Love the Plaza. It's a great little "secret" sit down place to escape the park. I like the food, the atmosphere and the location. We usually do a PS for dinner while we are at MK and have enjoyed it every trip.

It's a beautiful place too.

The sandwiches are great. I had the tuna and dh had the club. He still cannot beleive we are not going this time. Since I am the planner, I decided on new restaurant experiences. But I would Definitely go again. We even had a vist from the mayor himself while we were there.

The Plaza is one of our favorite lunch spots in the MK! We usually make our PS(AR) for around noon. They have great sandwhiches and a very yummy chicken and strawberry salad that even my kids like to eat! In fact they usually end up getting one of those salads to split! We were there last week for a quick long weekend and we ate at the Plaza, the kids menu has changed alot and has added healthy food choices for children other than chicken fingers and hot dogs. My oldest girls(5 and 3) each got he kids chef's salad with Ranch dressing and they said they liked the other salad better and wouldn't finish lunch. Go figure! but then agin I have weirdo salad eating children OH and don't forget to get a sundae!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We like the Plaza. Great Ruebens. I tried making a AR there for late August the other day & the CM tried to tell me they were only serving dinner between 3:30 & 4:10 pm! She said "What kind of dinner is that?"
I told her I'd call back & check on them releasing more times & she insisted the hours for the restaurant had changed. I think she was new.....

Just an FYI - I called to get an AR for early August (the 7th I think) for 11:30 - 12:00 and had some trouble. Finally found one for 12:20 at seperate tables (we are a big group).

I'm looking forward to it.

The restaurant is not that big, and neither are the tables. There are a few that sit side by side, so maybe that's where you will be seated.
