Plaza Restaurant??

Has anyone eaten at the Plaza Restaurant lately. The menu looks great for a nice lunch on EE Thursday but I have never eaten there. Good?

They did recently change their chef. Before it was Good now Hubby and I prefer it for lunch, it's a favorite. They have this amazing strawberry and chicken salad (if you like salad) I was intreiged (SP?) by it on the menu and was amazed by it when I ate it. Definetly 2 thumbs up from this family

I ate there for lunch in Setember, I had the cheese steak, yummy! The service was also very good.

The strawberry and chicken salad at Plaza has always been one of my favorites. However, it's been removed from their menu. We were there in late October and the CM told us that they were redoing their menu effective the following week. (Glad I got to try it one more time). They were reducing some of their portion sizes (they were seeing lots of waste since the portions were so, so large especially on the salads). The salad was replaced with something similiar but with pears instead--yuck! I have PS for early May for here but honestly, I'm thinking about cancelling. I really liked the strawberry salad because it was light and refreshing on a hot day. Just won't be the same.

We ate there in Feb. and had a very pleasant lunch. We were glad we had a PS though as it was a rainy day and mobs of people were trying to get in out of the rain. We plan to eat lunch there again when we return.

We always enjoy the Plaza Restaurant for lunch. Fresh sandwiches, and we've always had good service. I love their cheesesteak sandwich because they serve it hot, cheesy, and on a fresh baguette. OK, now I just made myself hungry.

disneyfanatic60 I just got back (trip reports soon I hope) and you will be happy to know that the starwberry and chicken salad is back on the menu and it was wonderfula s you said.

We ate there before MVMCP last December. We had one of the last PS's, around 4:30pm. Sandwiches were good.

This is an often passed by restaurant. Many people think it is part of the ice cream shop and never stop. I know that it is one of my favorite places to eat. The sandwiches are awesome, as are the salads. They also have a great German Potato salad. I like that they offer ice cream and milk shakes too.

It's a must do on our list (we usually try to have lunch there at least one time during our stay.)

Love the turkey sandwich (huge!) and the general overall atmosphere. We try and make it here at least once each trip, most recently in January. Prices are reasonable, too.

Love it! Excellent quality food, and you get to relax and be served. The chicken salad is a favorite, as well as the burger, chicken sandwich, and German potato salad.
