Plaza Restaurant

Hi,

I made ADR's for Plaza Restaurant for lunch at 12:05 PM. I'm just wondering if I should get rid of Plaza Restaurant and add something different. I'm just not sure.

We did Plaza on our last trip and it was great to sit down and have a nice lunch in the Air Conditioning and then go back out and tour the park nice and refreshed. The food was descent, we enjoyed it.

From the pictures, I can't tell if it indoors or outdoors. Could someone please describe what it looks like?

My family and I had lunch last August at the Plaza for the very 1st time, however I don't think we would go back there. There was nothing wrong with the food or our server, we just wanted to try something new for a change and we decided that the Plaza was not for us.

The Plaza is like a turn of the century ice cream parlor with sandwiches and burgers. My DW and I like it and have eaten there for lunch and dinner several times over the years and have enjoyed it. The only other table service retaurants at the MK that is not character buffet is Tony's which is more expensive. IMHO, I would keep the ADR for The Plaza. It is very popular and usually takes no "walk-ups" in our experience.

To describe it, it's not a large restaurant. It's got a small dining area designed like a solarium or greenhouse, and then the main dining room. It has mirrors along the back wall of the main dining room to make the room look larger, and windows all along the front and around the solarium. A table by the windows is great for people watching. I eat lunch there freqently and have always had a good meal. It's mostly sandwiches and sundaes.

OK, I think I'll keep the ADR and see if I like it. If I don't, I'll try somewhere else for my next trip. It's unfortunate that MK doesn't have more non-character table service restaurants other than Plaza and LTT.
