Plaza Restaurant at 8 for 9 fireworks ?

We have a reservation for 8pm at the end of March at the Plaza Restaurant. What are the odds we can get a table outside to watch the fireworks ?Slim to none ? Also what is good to eat there. My son has a peanut/ tree nut allergy so no desserts are safe there for him unfortunately. Thanks for any info !

As far as I know, the outdoor tables aren't part of the TS restaurant

I don't think The Plaza has outdoor seating.

And, know, because people "camp"at Plaza reservations, you may not be seated.... Aug 2019, we had a 7:40 plaza reservation. Checked in at 7:20, at 8 started asking when we'd be seated. We're told sorry, we're running behind, we may not be able to seat you tonight. Here's 4 quick service vouchers . Nothing I asked for (including TS vouchers)could be accommodated. We left, ate at Kona, and got the meal comped by guest services at our resort the next morning.

If you want to watch the fireworks do not book Plaza during or the hour ahead.

As said there is no outdoor seating, there are few window seats but they will be blocked mostly by people outside and it’s a small restaurant so timing can run amuck.

I love it for lunch or early dinner but not in the evenings.

We just returned from our trip and saw the fireworks very clearly at Narcoosee's. They pipe in the music as well. You can watch from your table or go outside on the deck to watch. Our ADR was at 7:40. You can also see partial fireworks from Citrico's (minus the music).

That's true - but you can't see the castle projections from there, which is probably what OP wants a good view of.
