Plaza Restaraunt

We liked it. The food was great but the service wasn't. I would try it again though. We all have our off days.

I really enjoyed the cookies n cream shake I got. The food was good, and it's a nice, quiet, better-than counter-service but not-as-big-as-table service place to eat.

We won't use a TS credit on DDP there though. We eat there if we have a meal with no dining credits left.

We LOVED it. I kind of think of it as somewhere inbetween counter and table service. Great sandwiches and the ice cream is AWESOME!!

We ate there last week and liked it a lot. The sandiwches are pretty big and they give you a good bit of food. The desserts are also great. We were on free dining and I got the brownie sundae and my Mom got the cheesecake and both were really good.

We ate there about a month ago & really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the small, quiet atmosphere & had excellent service. Our sandwiches were very good & the desserts were wonderful! - I got a mint chocolate chip milkshake for my dessert :thumbsup2

Mmmmm love the cheesesteak sandwich and sundaes are great! We love this place and think it's a great option for lunch.

Ostensibly better than quick service, but not worth a table service dining credit since all you get are sandwiches that are only slightly more expensive than some QS locations. We had to wait almost 45 minutes past our ADR on a not busy day and there were empty tables inside! And then our service was not good. Food was ok. I would only go back on the DxDP again because credits don't matter between QS and TS. Or pay OOP if there was something I really wanted there.

We went in Aug and had a great time.

We thought it was just sandwiches but it was so much more.

I had a wonderful tomato soup and dh had chicken noodle.

I had a rueben but there was a special that night and dh had meatloaf. I had a taste and it was delicious. We wish had split it so that we would have room for dessert.

Our service was wonderful. It was our first time and I think we will be back again,.

The Plaza is on our must do list for dining every trip...great sandwiches, burgers too..and the broccoli slaw is delish...DH and I both enjoy it and so do the kids...there is something for everyone...and the desserts...I am thinking of that yummy brownie sundae...so good!!!

Also it has a nice relaxing atmosphere...open and airy...a good place to take a lunch or dinner break (we prefer it for dinner) during a busy day in the park...

Enjoy!!:thumbsup2

It was ok. Food was decent. Service was a bit slow.

I don't know that I would eat there again. I like several of the QS places at MK better.

I love :cloud9: that tomato soup...and I don't even like tomatoes!! We will be eating there Sunday night...can't wait!

Shhh, everybody shhhh....:ssst: don't give away my favorite lunch spot in the MK!

Seriously we have had a couple of really nice lunches here and it is a must do for us. We like the food and the quiet atmosphere. Milkshakes are to die for. I understand the potato salad is gone since my last trip there :( but we will be there in Feb. for sure.

We ate there for the first time last trip and are sorry we didn't try it sooner. We loved our lunch (I had the veggie sandwich and DS the chicken). The tomato soup was very good. Service wasn't the best but it didn't ruin our experience. I think it is a much better option that CS. But even having the DxDDP next trip, we will pay OOP pocket for this one to save the extra credit for a signature restaurant.

I thought it was good, but not great. I liked my cheesesteak sandwich, but the bread was not right for a cheesesteak. (I'm from the Philly area and am spoiled by cheesesteaks though.) The hot fudge was delicious, but the ice cream had ice crystals in it. The service was all right, but kind of unfriendly.

I know I'm in the minority, but we had a horrible experience at the Plaza. Horrible service, horrible food, horrible everything. I will never go back again.

We ate there for the first time last Fall. There were 6 of us and we all ordered something different from salads to sandwiches to burgers. Everyone loved their meal! Our server was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

DH and I ate there again this past May and while the food was still really good, our server was not friendly or welcoming at all. He took our order, brought our drinks, brought our food and that was the last we saw of him until it was time for the check. He never checked to make sure our food was okay or that we needed refills (which we did). I was hoping that was an isolated incident, but I'm sad to read here that lots of folks seem to be exoeriencing unfriendly service.

Regardless, we'll be going back next month for lunch and are hoping for a better experience from our server.

We went for lunch in August. We really enjoyed it. Great service! The food is standard but we really enjoyed it. We would go again.

Sandwiches are good, and the only option for dessert is ice cream. Definitely not worth a TS credit on the dining plan, IMO. Otherwise, fine.
