Plaza or CP

Having a hard time deciding on doing CP for breakfast or Plaza for an early lunch on our MK day. Kids will be doing BBB and Pirate League in the afternoon (if that is a factor).

Which would you choose and why?

We are frequent Disney goers, so characters, etc are not the issue. I just keep bouncing back and forth on this one and need some imput

If characters aren't an issue then I'd do the Plaza. It's a cheaper/lighter meal. However, if it's going to be your only meal of the day, then maybe go with the CP. Fill up on the buffet then you'll be set for the rest of the day!

I love CP breakfast!!!!

I have found Plaza to be just OK and service has always been very slow.

If characters are not a big deal, go with the Plaza. It was our last meal during our trip last month, and we loved it. Actually, it was in both my and DH's Top 2 meals of the trip! The prices are decent, the portions are huge, and the atmosphere is fun but relaxing.

Oooh...that's a tough one for me. I love CP for breakfast and the characters (loved the puffed french toast and potato casserole); but we also LOVE the Plaza and it is always our last meal before we head to the beach or the airport. We've tried every sandwich, almost every salad and the soups (and the desserts are to die for). We've had great food and outstanding service every visit the last seven trips. You can't go wrong with either one -- good luck in deciding.

I would go to CP early, 8:05 am, and get in the park to take pics, have a nice breakfast and then go about your day

If you don't have a need for the characters, then I'd do the Plaza, unless you can get into an 8:00ish breakfast at CP. It'd be worth it to me to get the early park pictures, otherwise we'd do Plaza hands down.

Honestly, none of us really liked the food that much at CP (breakfast was better than lunch for us, but Plaza is by far better in our opinion and the desserts are soooo good.) The Plaza is actually our favorite place to eat at WDW, as far as food goes.

Thanks everyone - I feel like all of you: the Plaza for "this" CP for "that" Just decided to wing it and see how we feel that day. I NEVER go commando, so I guess neither one was important enough...lol
