I'm taking my son to Disneyland to celebrate his 9th birthday and I thought it might be fun to do a character breakfast. His favorite character is Dale and we missed him on our last couple of trips so I am leaning towards storytellers but I'm not really sure if he will even know the rest of the characters there? Which characters have been seen recently at both breakfasts? Maybe I could prep him with a few movies before we go.

Chip and Dale will likely be at both. Also at Goofy's Kitchen. It's hard to miss them if you do character meals. They're sort of in danger of overexposure.

Have you considered Goofy's Kitchen too? They are really good about making sure each character comes to visit every table. Usually have Goofy, Minnie and Pluto, plus Chip and Dale are both there.:)

Never been to Storytellers, but we loved the Plaza Inn for breakfast. Last time we saw: Minnie, Fairy godmother, Captain Hook, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Max (Goofy's son), Pluto, Chip, and Dale.

Our last visit at Plaza Inn was so great, I can’t say enough about it. We had the best interactions with a slew of characters, very funny ones and great photos. I highly recommend Plaza. I’ve done both Goofys and Storytellers and Plaza was my fave :)

We enjoyed the Plaza Inn this Monday. We saw Minnie, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Peter Pan was hilarious and Captain Hook was also quite engaging.

My son is a red head so Peter Pan is always a fun character to meet! I think we will try Plaza Inn!

I think I've been convinced that Plaza is the way to go!

We've done Goofy's but we haven't done storytellers or Plaza I think Plaza sounds like the winner!

Chip and Dale seem to be very frequent characters both in the park and at Character Breakfasts - we have seen them all 4 times we've done Minnie's breakfast as the Plaza Inn!

I've done every character breakfast at the DLR except whatever Paradise Pier does (Goofy's, Storyteller's, Plaza, Ariel's). The food at Storytellers is hands-down the best. As far as characters, you get to see the most at Plaza, and Chip/Dale were part of every time I've done that.

Another vote for the Plaza! I thought the food was a bit better at Storyteller's but the Plaza food is still good and for characters the Plaza is where it's at for sure!
