Can anyone post an example of Plaza Inn photo? I just want idea of what it involves ie: back drop/character?

We have breakfast there with Minnie (et al) on Sunday. We have PhotoPassPlus, so I will be able to scan our character photo and post it next week.

When we went last November, they just took a picture of me and our two girls together. I had expected them to take a picture with Minnie, but they didn't. The photo was taken on the front porch, under the cover with me and the girls against the little fence (sorry for the wrong terminology, but hopefully it will make sense). There were other people standing in line to get to the check-in podium in the background.

We didn't buy the picture.

Sorry don't have ours scanned on this computer but, ours was taken with Tigger, not Minnie. We loved it.

We went the first week in June. Ours was just standing at the railing of the porch facing the restaurant so behind us on one side was the check in station and you could see part of the Plaza Inn sign, and the other side you could see a table. Definitely not worth the money which I think was around $30. I bought it in a weak moment, but I'm sorry I did as we certainly have much better photopass pictures in the park of our family.

We have been the last 2 Junes. Last year they did our pictures with Minnie, but the other time it was again just at the rail, or maybe even just with our backs against the restaurant- I'm pretty sure I didn't buy that one. If I remember right, we weren't very happy because they were taking pictures of people with Eeyore and then he left right before we got up there. It was our first time there, and we thought he or another character would be coming out so that we would get our picture with a character like the other guests, but then they just stood us there by ourselves and snapped a photo. The character meal is fantastic though, even if the photos leave something to be desired!

That sounds extremely lack luster and non-magical!

We were there 3 weeks ago...same thing. Picture when you first get there on the porch outside with balloons I think, no character. I too bought it in a moment of weekness, but probably wouldn't have if I had taken the time to think about it. We got much better pics during the breakfast with my own camera. At best, I would tell them you want to think about it til after breakfast, so you're not rushed to make a decision when you're trying to interact with the characters.
The breakfast was great, food was ok. French toast was suprisingly my favorite, and fruit. Characters were awsome. We went to a 7:30 breakfast and 4 of the tables around us were empty so we had lots of interaction especially from Chip and Dale who kept coming by. They danced with my daughters and played with their balloons. They will give you balloons as you enter. My DS didn't want one, but the characters really seemed to use them as "icebreakers" to interact with the kids, so make sure you get one. After the breakfast ours eventually had to go bye-bye...long day with three balloons tied to the stroller. :)

ps...not sure about the new photopass option that came out this week, but it looks like a great deal. Be sure you check it out! :)

eta: Be sure to ask which pic will be the package. We took one with me,sis, and kids and one with just kids. The package was all 5 of us with just a couple small of the kids alone. I would have preferred the other way. Just a heads up if you're going to buy the package.

We were there last week and the pic didn't have a character in it. They took one of all four of us and one of just our two kids. We got pics of both. There was no backdrop, just against the front of the restaurant, but they are great pics.

I think she meant the photo you get on the PhotoPass+ card.

When we went in 2010, they took your picture off the side, before you entered the restaurant. Not a big deal. Just on the porch.
Yes this is what I meant, I've been there once food( what 2 bites I got) was great. I will buy pp+ when we get to DL. I did it at wdw appox month after release and was happy with photos. Just couldn't place photo at Plaza so either we walked right past it or they weren't offering when we did DL.

This was taken yesterday morning.

hmm... the link I posted doesn't work and I don't know how to put a photo in my post. Sorry. If I figure it out, I'll post it later.

Had breakfast there yesterday. It was a fabulous time. Food was pretty tasty and the character interaction was superb! The photo was disappointing. If it weren't part of the photopass plus, we would not have looked twice at it, let alone purchased it.

We were disappointed that there was no character for the picture, especially on Christmas Eve morning, but as it turned out, it is a nice picture of my mom and I with my younger kids.
