Plaza Inn closing October 2 for refurb.

Plaza Inn will be closing on October 2 for refurbishment and remodel according to permits filed with the city of Anaheim. There are no reservations available for breakfast starting on October 2 and Plaza will be closed for lunch and dinner beginning on October 2. No info on how long the closure will be. Mouseplanet also mentioned this in its update dated August 20th.

Yes I see that. I have no idea what is going on. Disneyland did file permits so a closure is happening. Date on permit says work beginning on October 2.

Just checked on the website. After October 2 it says no times available.

That's what I'm hoping! We'll see. We made the breakfast one but honestly my husband just wants to do lunch or dinner for the chicken. Hoping it is open when we visit. Cross those fingers.

I love the chicken at Plaza . I am on my flight to LAX now to Disneyland. I plan on Plaza during my trip.

Maybe they got a good price on new appliances and they are going to upgrade the restaurants one by one. If Plaza Inn is only closing for 9 days, maybe it will be the same for Jolly Holiday.

Mouseplanet just reported that while the permit is valid. Plaza Inn will not be closing in October but the work will begin after the holiday season -- according to Disney.

If true then confused why Disney would leave money on the table and not have Halloween Firework packages
