Hey guys
Just curious if anyone has feedback on The Plaza on Disney property? Or if I can be pointed in the right direction, previous thread etc (I did a search but had no luck)
My mother was combing the web looking for more reasonable solutions to a large reception/dinner party and happened upon some info about this place. She said it is on property but not Disney owned. She said you can still have Mickey and Minnie if you want, too which I would definatly do to make it feel more "Disney"! lol
She was thinking along the lines of Escape ceremony then a large reception that night or the next day. She read something about the food and bev being 50.00pp which is a nice break from the DFTW price.
My big thing is I really wanted the small wedding. I just loved the idea of it being very personal with my closest family and friends attending. I figured we could splurge more on them with welcome parties, afternoon tea, dinner show, etc rather then nickle and dime on the custom to keep costs down. (we have a very tight budget to play with)
The issue is with me not wanting another party back home. I am just not interested in to two big events. My mother figured perhaps to give me what I want, the intimate wedding, she would look into a "reception" for 50 to 75 in Disney as well and feels the Plaza is a nice alternative. This way she could try to please most.
I wonder if you can wear your dress at the Plaza? I would imagine but who knows. She was not able to find any info on whether you need to do the whole package (ceremony, reception) or if you can opt for the reception only.
