I have just been looking at menus on DLRP magic and noticed that the plaza gardens now has an option for adults to just have a main course and desert for E19.99. I have searched the forum but can't find anything so has anybody done it? Is it just run on trust?

When does that menu date from ? as in the June onwards menu that wasn't an option.

They did offer that for a while at Restaurant des Stars but it was stopped :)

I couldn't find a date for the menu but it definately wasn't an option Christmas 2010 or at the end of May last year when we were there. Maybe it was a trial that just lasted a few weeks.

It seems quite an odd thing to do because surely people will still eat just as much but choose from the main course and desert sections.

I'm going this week and/or next depending on the weather so I'll have a look and take a new pic as my last one was the June one, so normally May/June time to November :)

I know from my photos of the menus at RdS that they abandoned the idea as I 'm sure there was too many people paying for the cheapest option and then eating the lot :sad2:

Thanks Carrie Cat. I can just imagine plenty of people not paying for starters and eating them anyway:confused3. I would feel too guilty but being all you can eat I could happily fill myself up just on the main course and deserts (well just the deserts would do too:rotfl2:)

We ate in the Plaza gardens during the summer (July) and the option was available then. I remember because we paid the dearer option because we always like the starters best and would have been happier if we could have chosen starter and main and left the desserts.

How interesting, it will be interesting to see if they are still doing it.

We ate there twice between Christmas and New Year, and this option was not mentioned to us...however as we were travelling with a disabled child, we always went in the back way, so never actually looked at the menu....

We went just before Christmas and it wasn't on then, there was just the option of having it with or without a drink. Lovely meal there :thumbsup2

We went there in Oct 11 & paid for the buffet meal but we were disappointed by the food available. We much preferred Hunters Grill in SQL.

Hello :goodvibes They aren't doing it anymore. This is what you get now

Thanks for reporting back Carrie Cat.:goodvibes

Does open drinks mean unlimited do you think?

No bother :goodvibes I've taken a fair few restaurant menus pics and will be uploading and updating the individual sections tomorrow (evening)

Open drinks is a very curious way of translating à volonté which does translate better as unlimited :confused3

Don't know who is in charge of their translations but even OH found this one odd :lmao:
