Plaz Inn Breakfast on MM Days before opening?

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find it in my searches. I was wondering if you can go to breakfast on a MM before the parks opens to the public even if you don't have MM. We are considering a Plaza Inn character meal this time and I thought this might be a good opportunity on the other MM day during our trip to go as we only have one MM. Do they let people with reservations in? Has anyone done this? I HATE the idea of missing park time for breakfast, and I thought this may be around that.

Our other option was to try Storytellers breakfast on that day .....?

Yes, you can make a reservation before regular park opening even if you don't have MM access. There will be a separate entrance for those dining at Minnie's that morning and your name will be on the list if you have a reservation.

Yep I just did this back in August. No problems at all!

Yes, we've done this and it's the perfect solution. We usually just do 2 day trips, thus no magic morning. It was especially great for our Jan trip, when the parks open later. We are early birds, so it was one less hour we had to wait to start our day in the magic!

It depends when the park opens, but its about an hour. The time the park opens for MM people. If regular opening is at 8, you can do ressies at 7:10 I believe.

does this also work for non MM days? ie park opens at 9am, dining reservations can be for 8am etc?

and if you finish your breakfast early, can you walk through the empty park (i'm thinking photo opportunities for when no one is around ) to get back to rope drop/entrance, or do they hold you in the restaurant til official opening?

No, AFAIK its only an option on MM days. So although you are getting in before regular park hours, it is already open to MM guests. It is just a great way to eat breakfast in the park and not waste any precious morning time when you don't have a MM. We did finish up a bit before eight, and it was nice to walk out and already be in the park without having to wait at the turnstiles.

If you have reservations early in the AM during the MM hours, can you get fastpasses during that time? I am more than happy to leave and go get fastpasses for Star Tours!!!! My boys are huge Star Wars fans.
