Hi out there….
Does anyone else out there wonder what happens to the Playhouse Disney shows after they stop airing them?? I really miss some of those shows! I guess mainly because DD watched them when she was a baby (she's 4 now) and loved them! I wish some of them were still here for my DS (he's 15 months). My DD STILL watches the Out Of The Box Christmas and Halloween VHS tapes continually! I miss them the most! Thank goodness I still have the Wiggles and Bear in the big Blue house(barely though)!

Don’t get me wrong! I love the new shows too (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)!

Also…do they change the Playhouse Disney show at MGM accordingly????

I miss stanley and bear in th big blue house the most. I have several bears on dvd, but no stanleys. he's on at 6am, which means he'll be phased out soon...guess I should set up a tape and get them while I can.

we liked out of the box, but when it was on, my son was too young for it. would love it to be on now that he could actually get into some of the crafts and such.

it kills me because stuff like the doodlebops (gag) is on instead. I do like little einsteins, but really do miss some of the other stuff.

Bear!!!!!!!!!

Of course we don't get the Disney channel here in Egypt, but we get some of it's programming. Thankfully the Doodlebops have not made it here yet.

I totally agree with you! I actually thought Blue and Stanley were gone until I realized they were on super early. We just got TIVO and I will be TIVOing them! I REALLY have regrets about not taping the Out Of The Boxes !!!!
I do love Mickey's Clubhouse, Daniel cook and the old stand by...The Wiggles!!!

I like Out of the Box... my DD's meet them when the were here with a playhouse disney tour and Vivian was soooooooo sweet to them I will never forget it.

Not a huge fan of Roly but love Bear and Stanley.

We miss Bear in the Big Blue House. DS3 loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny. Other than that he'd rather watch a video or Toon Disney.

Yeah...I was just playing an original Playhouse Disney CD and they are on there!

Loved out of the box! Mostly the song at the end. I also loved the diversity for dd. Dh is Korean and it is always nice seeing kids who look like our family on TV.

Did anyone else notice that the guy who was doing the good night show on sprout was bear! love that guy, I was alomst as sad when he left as I was when steve left blue!

My DS is 5 and hasn't watched Playhouse Disney in a while. I'm sad to learn Stanley, Olie and Bear aren't really on anymore. He LOVED Stanley. I loved Stanley. They had 2 Stanley DVDs out several years ago...3+.

He never liked Out of the Box, Olie and Stanley were definately his favorites. He liked PB&J Otter and Bear too.

We are thinking about having another child, I'm sad s/she won't get to see these shows.

I also miss the fact that playhouse disney went longer in the day...till 3pm. now its only till noon. it was great when we were living in syracuse, our cable system had both disney and disney west, so the west stuff was 3 hours later...it went from 9-6pm, and regular disney was 6-3pm. I wonder why they shortened it? most of the shows that are on after noon are for kids that are more school aged, at least in my eyes. my kids love playhouse disney, but now if we watch something in the afternoons, we switch to noggin.
