Playhouse Disney...What are you missing???

Hi out there….
Does anyone else out there wonder what happens to the Playhouse Disney shows after they stop airing them?? I really miss some of those shows! I guess mainly because DD watched them when she was baby (she's now 4) and loved them! I wish some of them were still here for my DS (he's 15 months). My DD STILL watches the Out Of The Box Christmas and Halloween VHS tapes continually! I miss them the most! Thank goodness I still have the Wiggles and Bear in the big Blue house!

Don’t get me wrong! I love the new shows too!

Also…do they change the playhouse Disney show at MGM accordingly????

DS loves Bear but now it is on before he gets up so if I do not tape it he can not watch it . Now he gets up at 6:30 so all he gets to watch is Jo JO before we have to go because I have to work now I was a stay at home mom for 2 years. to answer question yes I do too miss all the old show and wish that they would reair them.

The last time we were at Disney, Rolie had been replaced in the Playhouse Disney show with JoJo I think.

My daughter was distraught when Rolie stopped airing, but we have both the movies so she can still get her fix.

I don't remember the name of the show, but my oldest loved. Quite frankly, I loved it, too. I thought it was a show with excellent values. It had the otters names Peanut, Jelly, and baby Butter. Anyone remember the name of that show?

My DD is now going on 8, so I wouldn't be watching them even if they were still on - but I miss my Rollie-Pollie-Ollie and PB&J Otter. I was watching my newphew the other day (turned 2 in Oct.) and I've never even seen some of the shows he is watching.


Also, DD does still like watching the Playhouse DIsney show at MGM. I wonder if she'll do it this year......

I'm telling you.... my oldest loved those otters. Thanks ya'll. I knew someone would remember them. We used to do the Noodle dance all the time. Whenever my dd was trying to figure something out, she'd stand up and start dancing. Good times!!!

We miss these shows too! But, we are enjoying the new shows too. We got to see the Doodlebops live last month. My mother came with us and gave me this look of shock, then busted out laughing when I said "oh! this is my FAVORITE song!!" when "Get on the Bus" came on.

Oh and the Hot diggity dog song is a favorite around here too. We do the Goofy dance to it. LOL!!

PB&J Otter was my daughters favorite!! She is now 9 and I can guarantee she would LOVE to watch a few more episodes for memories too!! They should come out with a DisneyPast channel or something and play some of the old shows like Noggin plays for Nickelodian. That would be awesome!

Oh heck yeah than they could play some cartoons from my day too, such as Rescue rangers, Gummie Bears, Tale spin, Duck Tales , Darkwing Duck and so on....LOL....DO u guys remember those??

you know... I was thinking the same as all of u the other night when watching "sprout" with my daughter in the middle of the night... "gee I wish there was a 24x7 playhouse disney channel" and then I thought... but how would they do that with only like 10 shows.... put older "cancelled" ones on in the rotation... do new episodes in the am timeframe like they do now and spend the rest of the day rotating the newer shows and mixing around with some of the oldies but goodies... PBJ, Rollie, Out of the box... those were some great shows...

I loved what it taught I loved the goodbye song I loved the creativity and imagination and golly i miss that show

we also miss the noodle dance, DS never liked the show but loved the noodle dance

I lukily had banned Olie from our house just before it was taken off the air...

I miss the old shows too!

We watched an old pooh video the last night and it had advertisements for playhouse Disney shows like; out of the box and such. My DD said, "Hey mom, those shows are missing now." LOL SHe's right!
