Does anyone have the Playhouse Disney Live on Tour presale code for the show in Portland OR, or know where I could find it? Thanks! :dance3:

Unfortunately, I do not have it. However, I thank you for making me aware of this show. I can purchase tickets to the one in our town now, and get good seats. My kids will be thrilled. Especially since we're postponing our Disney vacation.

i looked up the show, too, for seattle...they will be here on 1/31/09...i know DD2 would love to see it, but we'll be back home in hawaii at that time! bitter-sweet, i guess!

Has anyone here actually seen this show? I've read not so great reviews on it, so I'm on the fence whether we should go.

A friend of mine took her 2 year old daughter and said it was great (from her 2-year-old's perspective!). She had a lot of fun, but that's the only "review" I've heard so far.

Oops, nevermind, it was Sesame Live that her 2 year old loved. They took her to Playhouse Disney Live right after that because she loved the Sesame Live so much but they were all very disappointed with the Disney show, particularly in comparison to the quality of the Sesame show. Well, I guess we'll skip this one and just wait patiently for the next Disneyland trip to get our Mickey fix! :)

That's kind of a bummer. We were thinking about taking our kids to see the Portland show too.

Anyone know how the live show compare to the Playhouse Disney show in DCA?

It sounds like it's a similar format, with the changing scenes between the different stories (Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, Pooh, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse I think), but it runs a little longer and there are characters on stage for the Live show vs the puppets they use at the Disneyland show. She said the live characters mouth taped words which is obvious with Manny and the Einstein characters (who are adults just dressed up in the character's usual clothes). The live show runs 30 minutes, a 15 minute intermission, and then 30 more minutes of show. She said the characters didn't seem authentic, more like a second-rate imitation non-Disney production. Bummer...

One review I read said that the costumed adults didn't even fool her 3 year old. She knew that they were adults dressed up....so much for Disney magic there.

Here's the link to the reviews that I read.

It looks like people either loved it or hated it.
