We are considering doing the Playhouse Disney character breakfast at MGM. What characters have you seen there, and how does the food stack up? We are also considering going on the Friday of ESPN weekend, and I am trying to decide if it would be worth taking the time out of our day there to eat that meal. We are also considering doing an O'Hana breakfast, which I know is wonderful. Any opinions or thoughts would be helpful.

We loved the Playhouse Disney breakfast! DD danced with Jojo & June, played with Leo, and never wanted to let go of hugging Goliath!! She had more fun there then any of the other Character meals. Even if the Characters aren't around, they still have music and games going for the kids. It was a lot of fun! Oh...and the food was pretty darn good too. :)

we loved it! in fact, I think it was my kids (age 4, 2, 2) favorite character meal (or meal, for that matter). we saw june, leo, jojo, and goliath. it was a fun time, and the food was good. even though we did a later breakfast (10:30), everything was hot and plentiful still. will definitely go again if we go back to wdw while the kids still like those characters.

We really liked it also! My 2 year old was a little timid but they kept coming back and were really great with her. When we went it was practically empty. The food was fine-typical breakfast buffet but smaller that Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. Even my 8 year old and 10 year old liked it though. There was a lot of dancing and singing.

So glad to hear good reviews with Hollywood & Vine Playhouse Disney:thumbsup2

We will be going in Oct 07 for a late breakfast and was wondering if the food was still good that late.

Thanks for the update.:goodvibes

We tried this Playhouse Disney character breakfast during our Feb. trip. We had a 9:00 reservation for breakfast, but we arrived around 8:30. We had never had an early reservation right at park opening, so I was glad to see a separate line to let us in MGM. There was a CM with a reservation list who checked our name as we walked through. We were able to be seated right when we got there. The breakfast was great--lots of choices and even a special kids' section. The quality of the food was very good, too. There were Little Einstein stickers waiting for us at our table. The characters were wonderful, and my girls (especially the 2yo) loved the dancing parades that featured songs from different Playhouse shows. It was a terrific way to start the day!
