Hi All!
Maybe someone here can help me with this. My DD has a big science project on animals habitat's due soon and I've run into a slight problem. Her animal she is working on is the ape and she had to create its habitat-environment in a shoe box. She decided she wanted to include the food it eats and so she made some bananas, apples and blueberrys out of playdough. They turned out great but as time is going by as you know playdough as it hardens can get white crystals or powder that forms on it.
Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening or anything I can put on the fruits she made??? They are pretty small and I did try fingernail polish but it really makes them too shiny. I know not a huge deal but DD wants it to look good and initially her fruits looked great but with time they are getting more of the crystals so if there is something simple I can put on them without ruining them I would love to know. Thanks to all and I thought maybe someone here might know the answer.
